Well, I know of a few deities that have rabbit familiars. One is Ix Chel, I think Freya has one, Elen has a relation to them, and there are a few others, I know that a lot of lunar deities have rabbit familiars.

Well, unfortunetly, all three of the babies died last night. After the first one died early last night, we were planning on taking the mom and the other two babies to the vet this morning to find out what we needed to do for them. And then I get a call saying that neither of them made it through the night. And so my mom let me stay home from school all day and we buried the babies this morning.

We think that the mom either just couldn't feed the babies or it's because the mom just wasn't well taken care of before we got her. One of my boyfriend's friends kinda just dumped the bunny on us (not that we didn't want her). But his friend was originally just gonna go drop her off somewhere by herself... she probably wouldn't have even lived to give birth to the babies if we hadn't taken her in. I don't think his friend took care of her though. When he gave her to us he gave us the bag of lettuce he'd been feeding her with, which was old and brown. So I know she wasn't getting the proper nutrition for herself or the babies. I know she tried to feed them, but something just wasn't right. I just wish I had realized it sooner.

It's sad, my boyfriend thinks she just didn't want them. I know she did. She was digging threw her cage this morning trying to find them. I feel so bad for her. But, we decided we might buy another smaller rabbit (she's one of those really big lop ear ones, so we might get a mini lop ear) in about a week so she won't be so lonely.
