Explanation

I was thinking that it is high time that Doctor Who got a shipping list of some sort. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, this is what wikipedia says about shipping: Shipping, derived from the word "relationship," is a general term for emotional and/or intellectual involvement with the ongoing development of romance in a work of fiction. Since Doctor Who has been on the air for such a long time, there are countless pairings that can be created. So this is the place to put them.

General Notes

This list will be laid out in aphabetical order, and will include pairings from not only Doctor Who but the spinoff shows as well. This thread is open to pairings of all kinds, as well as threesomes and foursomes.

Shippings Notes

When thinking up a name for a particular pairing, try to use something that the characters involved have in common. For pairings involving the Doctor, please indicate which one by using his number (example: 6th Doctor & Peri). Also, if there are two different characters with the same name, please indicate which one you mean. For example, there are two versions of Jackie and Pete Tyler. When using the alternate version, please put (alternate) in brackets after their names. All the shipping names are open to discussion, so if a certain pairing ends up with two (or more) different names, we can debate which one is more applicable and post that one. If no decision is reached, all the proposed names will be posted.

Yep, you're doing it right. From the short biographies of the characters in the BBC classic section, it seems like an interesting pairing. So, does anyone have any names for the cannon couples of the series (9th/10th Doctor & Rose, Mickey & Rose, Jackie & Pete Tyler, etc.)?
