A group of friends wanted me to go to the mall with them. When I went, we went in all sorts of stores. Among the first were things like American Eagle, Hot Topic, Abercrombie (lol, odd list, I know). They then noticed I wasn't trying anything on, just watching. When they asked why, I simply told them "I don't fit these clothes." (Which I know and accept.)
We got into an arguement (no malice in said arguement). I find it frusterating how they don't understand it. Is there a way to help them understand?
I really wish there was, they're convinced that~ I'm not fat, and that I can wear those clothes. I'd have a picture to show, but it's basically my torso/legs...bra and underwear only, lol. I think underwear pictures are against the TOS? Anywho. I'll end my ramble there.
Hi, first topic here. XD

Simply say: "I know you guys mean well, but I know my own body better than anyone, and you guys are kinda' hurting my feelings so can we please just agree to disagree and DROP it?" That's what I do 3nodding

I used to be like that, I can fit into some clothes in some stores my tiny friends go in, and that's because I wear my clothes tight! Like, seriously, I looooove wearing them tight weather or not I should because of my fat rolls.
Although I have found a few XXL girl's shirts in Hot Topic.
bra pics aren't against TOS as long as your nipples aren't showing, I think... but if you can just say what sizes you tend to wear it'd be easier to judge. I wear size 22 jeans, so I've given up on jeans in a lot of these stores but I wear the T-shirts and stuff.
But if that's the case, let them pic out clothes for you that they think will fit, then try on a few of them and show them (I assume your friends are like mine and y'all share the same dressing room), when your friends sees the difficulty you have fitting into these things, they may understand... otherwise you'll discover you're not as big as you thought xp

I know the problem, kinda. It's not like my friends don't understand I weigh more then them (they've seen me in underwear often enough to know XD), but they try to make me believe that it's not that bad and that I'm to strict with myself. The advice you've gotten so far is what I'd recommend too. Just tell them that you know your body best, no matter what they say, and if they still don't believe, just try one or two REALLY tight clothes and show them. XD
