Kimaji was slightly bored. Okay, make that really, really bored. She had dutifully practiced her pouncing lessons, and now she was pretty sure she had scared all the little bugs away. She didn't know where Mommy was at this time, but she did know that she wasn't being useful sitting around.

"Hmmmm..." the white and gold lioness said, peering off into the dry jungle. Anything was possible now that she was a bigger lioness and she knew how to hunt. Well, she knew she'd never be as big as Mommy, but Kimaji could tell she wasn't cub-sized anymore. Anyway, she had more freedom now that she wasn't completely helpless, so she intended to use it...by finding someone to talk to.

The mistweaver princess was taking a stroll, surveying the dryness and it's slow decay since her arrival. She hadn't been around long yet, but she had indeed seen enough to be able to tell the changes even now. Her heart ached, though she didn't know this land in it's former glory, and so she paused in her musing, bowing her head to the ground to offer up a silent prayer of her own to the Storm King. That He might bring the relief giving rains before she and her newfound family were forced from the home they'd been born to. It was obvious the jungle was ripe for a fire, brown and crackling ground cover littering every step.

Masika sighed. Relief needed to come, and it needed to come soon....

The tan and white lioness lifted her head at the strange sounds and smells. Something was moving, alive, here? The crackling noises seemed to indicate it, and a new smell was in the air, something that wasn't dry like the landscape. Kimaji tried to place the smell, as she thought she could recognize it from somewhere.

Oh, that's right! It was Ms. Queen Masika! Kimaji resisted the urge to run out and greet her, instead calling out, "Hello, Ms. Queen Masika! It's Kimaji." If Mommy were there she'd probably be scolded for not making sure Ms. Queen Masika wasn't on a hunt or something, but she knew there was no way that prey could be around. She'd been too good of a bug huntress earlier.

Masika blinked, startled by the appearance of the younger lioness. Fishing through her memory, she tried to recall who this one was, faintly recognising the pelt from somewhere. Ah yes, Kizuka's daughter.

"Hello there Kimaji. How are you today?" She mustered a small smile despite the worry that might as well have been permanently etched upon her features. The regal lioness padded her way towards the younger one, appreciative of the chance to steer off the 'beaten path' and do something other than worry, for a change.
