As some of you may have noticed, all the threads of the Dark Clan have been deleted by the ex-dark clan leader, Enishi. This is indeed a troublesome dilemma but I am working on restoring the threads to what they were, but all post have been lost, or are out of my reach at least. By the end of the week all the regular threads will return, with one or two new ones. The first threads that will be done by the time you read this will be the Update, Member's Profiles, and the OOC threads (the OOC is currently the What the Heck Enishi?! thread). I will need everyone to repost their profiles before continuing on with your Role Playing, once that thread is back up at least.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and suggest that you save your redone profiles to your computers via word, or another program like that, as a back up in the case of a re-occurrence of this event.

The main role play (Welcome to the Dark Clan) and fighting thread (The Combat Arena) are now up for your enjoyment. You must repost your profile before posting in these threads though.

A clan wide tournaments is in the making. It is currently being discussed by clan leaders and looks like there will be one eventually. I am asking which of our few members are willing to participate.
The time of the tournament is still unknown, but you can practice and show your RP style in the Combat Arena thread.

What's with all the human characters that are joining? Didn't anyone read that the Dark Clan isn't for normal humans.
TO ALL NEW MEMBERS! If you plan to be human, pm me first. I have a couple ideas about the how you can stay if you would like, but I must warn you, humans are usually physically weaker then demons. And people aren't afraid to try and kill you.
So either change races or PM me, your choice.

All of you that are new to RPing, read these few simple notes to not piss off everyone else.
1) No godmodding, this should be basic knowledge. Preforming an action without giving your opponent a chance to react, or just saying you dodge every attack is godmodding. Although there is magic involved with this fantasy, defying physics without an explanation also falls into the category of godmodding.
I.E. - You are thrown, and without the ability of flight or levitation, you stop yourself and set yourself down easily and unscathed. - Taking someone's weapon and then using it against them all in one post. Since your opponent probably isn't bound, unconscious, or otherwise immobile, your character should only make an attempt to grab the weapon. - Your opponent has launched several attacks against you. Without teleporting or using a shield, you weave and dodge and avoid all of the attacks. And no matter how many attacks they launch, you avoid them like they were nothing without getting a single scratch or getting tired. It may be a little unfair that your opponent continues attacking like this, it is more unfair if you never get hit despite their efforts.
2) Do not abuse posted information. Information in character profiles or RP areas is to give you some idea what to expect and to help prevent godmodding. Even if your character uses something as simple as another character's name but your characters have never met, you are abusing information. It is alright to post their name if you are going to speak to or fight them so the other knows who you are addressing, but make sure your character doesn't say their name unless you've met.
I.E. - The very first time you encounter someone, you call them out by their name, even though you never heard anyone around them speak their name and you've never met them before. - You may use, Jake saw Joe at the park and said, "Hi, who might you be?" It isn't right to say, Matt saw a man he never met before him, "Hey Steve, what are you doing here?" - If there is information about a building's structure, such as a building's layout or possible weakness. Do not exploit that information unless you are informed of it by someone else that knows.

All members must strive for literacy. That means no 1337 speak, check your spelling, correctly identify the difference between your character's actions and speech, and use proper punctuation and capitalization. This isn't an English class, but for the sake of all those that have to read your post, type correctly.
I.E. - Action and speech should not be mixed together in a run on sentence. If your character speaks, use quotation marks or put it in a separate color at least. Proper action/speech sentence: Ed charge the enemy with his sword drawn, "I'll kill you now! You hear me?!" - Use proper punctuation to express how your character is feeling. In the quote above, it is obvious Ed is angry, stressed, and/or out-of-control.
You will be warned once depend on how badly you break these rules. But continued abuse will result in you being kicked from the clan, and if you continue to bug the clan thereafter I will be sure to ban you from the guild.
