:: takes big breath and prepares a speech::
Alright, well to start you need to learn what cards do what.
1. The keyblades are simple strikeing moves and can be used in sucsession to make simple combos. 2. The ones with disney characters on them are summons, you can use the sholder buttons to make serious combos here. That will be explained later. 3. The cards with elements on them, such as fire or wind, are magic cards and you can strike at enemies with these as well, simmaler to the keyblade cards. 4. Then there are the healing cards, the ones with potions and ethers on them can only be used once, the cures can be used as many times as your MP allows. And like KH and KH2 your MP is refilable with orbs dropped by enemys.
Second is the power of the cards, these can be verry important in boss battles.
Each card has a number in the upper right hand corner of it, that number determins not the ammount of damage you can deal, but who actualy attacks when two cards are delt at the same time (( IE. you attacking a heartless at the same time it attacks you )) the person with the higher number gets to strike, the other is stunned for a moment. So arm your deck with the highest levels you have. This can be a huge pain in boss battles, as bosses unlike other oponents can use combinations so regular attacks are often negated.
Now onto the actual combinations.
The combinations are when you hit the two sholder buttons at the same time to select three cards for a combo. This will not only boost the number on your cards by combining them but give you special attacks if you make ether the right number or put the cards in the proper order when you hit the sholder pads. If you plot your deck right you can start every battle with a series of special attacks and rarely worry about actualy useing anything other than sholder buttons. To find out the proper combinations you can go to your start menu and there should be somewhere you can check on the order of cards for special attacks. The downside to this combination is that everytime you use it, you loose the first card that was in the combination. So say you where to use... judgment (( The combo for this is an Aro card and two keyblade cards of any level, in that order)) The aro card from that combo would be useless. So plan carefuly, if you use combos too much you will only have two cards left and be doomed! (( I found out the hard way on the final boss! crying ))
Best of luck!

~Ami_Watase~ wow that a big speach and very helpful. thanks. well i haven't gottent th egame yet so i just wanted to know how it works so that way i know ahead of time before i play the game. well, there are a cupple of things I left out, but those are bare basics. You should learn those withen the first few minutes of the game. Hell! you should learn all of that withen the first few minutes of the game... except maby the combos.... I didn't catch onto those untill later, when I started fighting Riku. That was probably because I was in such a rush to beat the game and return it to my friend that I didn't have much time to read the fine print on how to do the special attacks.
