Make examples of them. We really need to start cracking down on people who think this kind of thing is funny. It's not funny, it's sick and stupid! I'm not sure jail time, but I'm starting to lean in that direction because of all this nonsence! I hope they find 'em and they get what they deserve!

Paradrop them in the worst parts of baghdad, and show them what real terrorism is, and if they survive that, which they probably will, they will think twice about making stupid bomb threats like that again. Of course some may say I'm being harsh, but what happens when they're actually serious?

Isn't that a little extreme for a bomb threat? What about those kids who genuinly want to report a bomb? How would these suggestions affect their opinions?

Well... They will at least get a fine. It is malicious mischief. But if I am correct, the will also get a felony for threatening a federal establishment, but I dont know how that works with threats it could only be when the action is done. Regardless we can no longer put up with this sort of behavior. I would say, It depends upon the reason being; after all it could be from some kid who is sick and tired of being kicked around. Not that I am excusing this behaviour. Simply stating that we should asses the situation. If the kid is already mentally unstable making an example out of him could push him to the edge. but it could also be some punk kid doing it for no reason. Oh, dont you just love the "what if statement." -Fox-

thenerdqueen Isn't that a little extreme for a bomb threat? What about those kids who genuinly want to report a bomb? How would these suggestions affect their opinions? Well there is nothing wrong with the people who want to genuinly report a bomb as long as there REALY is a bomb.

A studnet thinks he hears a friend talking about blowing the school up, come graduation, (when someone really said this schol will be the bomb, come graduation). He doesn't want to be a snitch, yet also doesn't want anybody to be killed by a bomb. When the kid reports it anonymously, and it isn't there, what is your guys' verdict?

How could you tell them apart, without being called down for favoritism? Unless the first time it is a warning, it couldn't work.
