Overview:
You may have already noticed that I have demoted all the crew members. Now, I am searching for a crew that is very dedicated and efficient. Most guilds allow friends to be crew members instead of those more qualified to do the job. To me, a crew member is not someone with more importance in the guild, it is someone who works hard to make the guild run smoothly. We have over 370 members, that is why I need to have an election so that you guys can pick who you want to represent you as crew members.
The Election:
Members can apply for a crew position and once each position has at least two candidates, I will post a poll in this thread. Each poll will run for one whole day and will be specific to that crew position. Once one election is done, the other will begin until all crew positions have been filled.
How to apply:
To apply, send me a PM stating what position you are running for. Do not tell me why you are qualified for the position, it is not up to me to decide. Once I post the names of the candidates here, I will create a thread for all candidates to advertise why the members should vote for them. You may not advertise anywhere else.
Crew Positions:
1. Activity Organizer: Creates and organizes fun activities for the guild such as contests.
2. Board admin: Responsible for deleting offensive posts and any that break guild or Gaia rules. This person also must clean up the guild boards by deleting unnecessary topics and reporting to me members who break the rules.
3. Member admin: Adresses all members' issues including abuse, questions, and suggestions. This person is also responsible for accepting new members and banning them (by telling me).
4. Recruit: This person is responsible for advertising the guild by inviting good members, creating banners, and generally making the guild known to as many Gaians as possible (in ways that correspond to Gaia rules).
