FIRST: There are hundreds of private servers, many of which are small, start with a boom, and die quickly. I'm playing on the AnimaRO private server because its been around for years and has a large solid population, no down time, good stats, and recent updates. If you would like to choose your own private server, please look through THIS SITE.
SECOND: I chose to play on the AnimaRO server because of the aforementioned reasons. If you need more convincing, feel free to browse through their site: AnimaRO and the FORUMS
THIRD: Various terms that you might need to know.
iro/ro- this is a shortened version of Ragnarok, or more specifically Ragnarok Online
kro- This stands for the korean version or ragnarok.
sak- This stands for Sakray, or the patcher
ro folder- This is the folder where kro and sak install to. The easiest way to open this folder is to go through start/mycomputer/driveC/programfiles/gravity/ro. You will need to drag certain files into this folder.

HOW TO GET THE GAME
1) You need to download the korean version or Ragnarok and its update Sakray. In order to download any torrents you must have a torrent program like bittorrent or utorent. Now I personally suggest downloading all torrents to your desktop, that way they are all in the same place. Then drag or install the needed files to your RO folder as needed.

2) Next, you need to download the server patcher. Anima Mini Patch Just type the three random letters that are displayed, then click download.
3) Once you have all the torrents downloaded, Install kro first in its regular folder. Now, its going to be all in korean, so you'll have to figure it you. Just follow the same button patters for installing any windows program. After kro is finished installing, install the Sakray into the regular folder. Once Sakray is finished installing, run it and let it patch.
3a) Note: The sakray has recently been having problems patching all the way. If that is the case, please download this more stable korean manual patcher. Go to THIS SITE and scroll all the way to the bottom.
Once it is done downloading, drag and drop it into your ro folder, and run it. It should start patching all updated that you are missing.
4) Once Sakray is done patching, install the AnimaRO patcher in the ro folder. The easiest way to do this is select browse and access the ro folder the way I mentioned at the top.
5) When AnimaRO is done installing, run it and let it patch. Once it is done patching, you should be ready to play.
