Its hard to choose because the manga had scenes that they game didnt. But both were awesome. 3nodding

K i o K u n I loved it! heart domokun ahh~ the sexiness XDDD lol. Shimizu-san is awesome D: Have anyone read her vampire (not Suikoden) series. My. God....*_____________________* *drool* A vampire series? eek I've read the suikoden comics and Qwan but I didn't know she had a vampire series. I'll have to look it up. 3nodding

Whoa, I didn't realize that there was a significant number of Suikoden fans that didn't like the manga. I can't really imagine why someone wouldn't like it--it's got GORGEOUS artbook, the story is still intact with only some changes, and all the stars are in it. Granted, some of the stars only get cameos, but those are the same ones that only had minimal roles in the actual game to begin with... so that's just nitpicking, imho.
Also, the Suikoden 3 manga is a much better adaptation than any other videogame manga I've even seen. The zelda manga isn't really good at all, the Phantom Brave/Disgaea/Atlus manga that I've read was more of a gag-comic than anything else. And to top it off, many anime-to-manga adaptations suck too. Like Scrapped Princess, Wolf's Rain, and especially Gankutsuou. They just butchered the originals, which were really, really good series.
Finally, some people were upset at the changes. I'm not. It keeps the manga new and original--makes me want to keep reading it. I dunno if anyone read the Tales of Symphonia manga, but it's way too similar to the original story--I just got bored of it. Granted, I haven't actually finished it, but I don't really have any desire to actually read anymore. It's just the same thing all over again. I might as well go and replay the game instead.
