Han shot first.
Honestly, Guild Leader, I started this after reading the rule about not warring.
Hopefully this will be the friendliest, geekiest war ever.
If anyone doesn't know what the poll is talking about...tell me, and I'll figure out how to react later.

it's gotta be han, Greedo isn't a bad shot, he would have hit Han if he was to shoot first, Greedo's shot was because of his spasm from being shot, or dying or whatever!

Han definetely shot first. Saw him do it way back when, before Lucas decided "ZOMG d00d!!1! I better have Greedo shoot first!!1!!! lulz!"

In the original movies, Han shot first. When Mr. Lucas did the special editions of the OT he changed it so that Greedo shot first so that Han would not appear as too much of a violent guy, a villian, a bad influence, whatever. The debate rages on in geek circles. smile

I think it's stupid. If someone's pointing a blaster at your face, you shoot him. End of story. Han is a great character, and badass at that.

With the "Greedo shot first" re-edit, the entire intent of the scene was lost, and the flow was ruined. To this day, I don't know what Lucas could possibly have been thinking.

When I first saw the movie, Han shot first. It fits better with the storyline anyway.
