Username:Sasukes_Dobe

Character Name:Kay Yong (Also goes by 'Yo')

Age:21

Race: Human

Sex:Male

Appearance:About six feet tall and though he was visably muscular on the arms, he wasn't with a build of a wrestler or weight lifter. His frame was petite and if he had dressed nice, he would look like a pretty boy in one of the stupid Sunday Soap shows. His way of moving is elegant and with grace that was not usually found in such 'common' people. His voice is not deep and rough, yet soft and smooth. His dark raven black hair is cut short with semi-spikes in the ends that made each strand of hair fix into perfect texture and makes him look like one of those Japanese pop singers. His bangs go into his, surprisingly, baby blue eyes.

They are almost as light as the sky but with a bit of shine to them and though he doesn't have huge round eye's, the color compliments his hair. His skin was a very pasty tone, and one could dare to call him a vampire.
On the left side of his cheek, he has a remarkable tattoo
which starts from just above the eyebrow, down to the neck where it disappears over the shoulder. Should one get him stripped to just a pair of pants, they would see that the flame like tattoo runs all the way down his back and stops just before the belt line.

His attire is a black leather coat with a tiger sowed in in the middle and the Japanese word for 'Alone' below it. Underneath he has a black shirt with 'If I throw a stick, will you go away and stay gone?' Tripps are snug against his waist with a leather (and of course black) belt that had 'Broken' branded on it. His tripps are the only clothing he actually has that has some form of color on them. The seams are a crimson red.

Last but not least, are his boots which were laced with barbed wire. However, they are loose enough for him to yank off and tight enough to not slip away. They are also leather with metal on the inside of the foot, toe, and ankle.

Personality: His moods changed with the tide and though no one had seen him actually smile in a while, sometimes a slight crack could appear in the stone. When angered, he is still able to keep his calm exterior but when in a rage, he has a hard time to keep his thoughts clear and will usually try something foolish. Kay also has a bit of a shy side with people who are getting/already close to him. He can seem awkward and a bit clumsy with words and whatever is in his hands at the time.

Though a bit dark and distrusting at first, Kay has always had one soft spot. For children, believe it or not. He seems to adore watching and making them happy. This reason is unknown besides the fact that he did have a younger brother before they were parted.

History: Kay's history is something that is a bit common. He had a horrible childhood that involves with the 'tattoo' he was given. He was a part of a cult, or more like a experiment. A Gothic cult took the boy from his parents for a sum of money and did crazy things. Experiments on his body and mind. They hoped to revive a demon, though Kay was never told much about his purpose. Now he has a few 'gifts', though he hasn't tapped into them fully yet. Kay was able to escape as a young teenager and has been living on his own as a hired fighter/worker ever since.

Additional Information:As far as weapon wise, the young boy is skillful at many throwing objects. Kunai, shuriken, the occasional short blade. Needles if they are available. He is good with hand to hand and decent with a blade. One short katana is kept at his side, his projectile weapons in the large pockets of his tripps. His other powers are unknown as of now, and any other objects on him are the orange and black book bag slung over his shoulder. A flute made of ruby is inside and more throwing knives in the sides.

Illness/Cursed Tattoo : The ritual in which Kay was used in cause a number of events to happen. Besides the tattoo that shows the outside covering of the curse, Kay has had to live his life with a number of things from this 'tattoo'.

Having been in the cult for five years, Kay had to do a number of things in preparation for the reviving ritual; The revival of a demon. He was sealed off from the outside world for more then five years and given little to eat. In this period of time, he was also a temporary mute; for he wasn't allowed to talk; in fear that if the priest found him doing so, they'd have to sow his mouth shut.

While being shut off from the world, Kay had to wake every morning at five o' clock. Tied with a few strong ropes and a blind-fold, he was brought into the listening room. People would come in and kneel before him, telling him their misfortune and dismay. Being as young as he was, Kay didn't understand why, for he was never allowed to know his purpose. As the 'client' would begin, Kay would feel sharp needles poke his back and the burning sensation of the ink spilled into him.

The contents or ingredients are unknown to anyone besides the cult. This went on for years and as the tattoo spread, so did the nightmares he would have. Learning that these were more like visions then dreams from a conversation he eavesdropped on, it was soon apparent that he was seeing the past of someone or something.

Once the tattoo had spread over a certain amount of his body, Kay was allowed to rest for a few days while ending preparations were made. The last night he was in the cults church, was a night he'd never forget. Inside his dream, Kay walked along the bloody halls of an old traditional style room.

Reaching the center and pulling back the paper rice wall that held it shut, kay got to see what they planned on unleashing. A woman soaked in blood and in a blue kimono smiled at him. Malice dripped from her being as she walked towards him. Her name was spoken in his mind like a hushed whisper. He tried to wake himself, but it was no use. Why? Because the ink had been etched into his skin...made of her and her families blood. Made of the blood of the many who had been killed by her in a massacre.

Why it happened, is a mystery that only the books in the cults room would reveal. However, had the demon been released, Kay's own soul would then travel in a rift to where he wouldn't be able to move on. The demon would begin to haunt the dreams of others, her curse tattoo appearing on their flesh. It was said when the tattoo covered the person's body, that person would die and join the un-eased souls of the dead.

There would be no cross over for them. Kay had found this out by the dream and that night, decide that he had to put an end to the ritual. Sneaking out without any information on how to even heal the curse, he took on the burden of being forced into visions each night. The howls of the victims and woman ring in his head, their souls having been revived through the ink and now living in his body.

After periods of time, Kay's body weakened and his own soul is in battle while sleeping or awake. In this state, he sees visions as though he were the tattooed woman in his dream. Should his soul weaken enough for the spirit to break through, she would be able to control his body for one full night.

His way of knowing when he is reaching his breaking point is when the tattoo spreads across his body. The farther it goes, the closer the spirit is from breaking loose. He has one defense against this. While awake, the raven is almost powerless to resist the spirit. While asleep, he his able to flee through dreams, playing cat and mouse with the girl.

It has been the only thing he's been able to do for two years straight. Running through various landscapes, where ever his mind takes him, Kay is cursed to restless sleep his whole life; which consists of running away from a woman whose touch can cause him to never wake again.
