Ahhh, spring is here. Flowers are blooming, grass is growing (whoo-hoo, lawnmowing!), birds are chirping and all that crap. With all these beautiful things comes something that I know I dread every year....allergies. I have SEVERE pollen allergies, and on top of the usual torture, I'm pregnant. Which means that unlike every other year, when my whole household gets doped up on cold, sinus, and allergy medications, I get to sit outside and sneeze my head off, cough every five minutes, and look like I'm constantly crying.
Anyone want to gripe with me?

Well, I can b***h about Washington state. EVERYTHING here molds! I found mushrooms with mold on them, and cat poop with 4" pink mold. And... I'm allergic to it! I'm on Claritin and Flonase, and I still get stuffy. *mutter*

I live in Austin, Texas. Not only does EVERYONE here have some kind of allergy, but I get to be allergic to SOMETHING all year-round. Whether it's mold, dust, cedar pollen, or god knows what else. Even worse, my boyfriend LOVES cold and rainy places, which just remind me of mold. Thing is he hates hot, sunny days, which make my soul smile. Thank god I'm willing to endure the sniffles so I can make out with him in the rain. That's always fun. ^ ^
Hell, I'm even allergic to my dog. Funny thing is, I think she's allergic to me, too. Sometimes it'll be just me and her in the house, she'll walk by me, and then she'll sneeze so hard she slides backwards. It's so funny to watch! ^ ^
