So I was searching around on youtube the other day, and came across the old '96 cartoon series, and I found myself thinking "Cyberpunk Mice, anyone?? "

that was an awesome show. I don't remember much about it, though I have the themesong on my computer. They were definitly cybernetic. But they aren't the typical cyberpunk with the fact that their target audience was too young. YOu can't have shades of grey in your heros when dealing with young people, and that is a must in my mind for cyberpunk.
So, I'd say no.

That was back when Cartoons actually had backbone... the good guys were't all that good, and the Cheesy pop-references were abundant. I mean Hell, half the background music from the series was from Guns 'N Roses... You're telling me Axl Rose was for a young target audience??

What I am saying is that the sophistication wasn't in the characters.
Yes the music may have been heavy, and the action intense, but that doesn't translate to cyberpunk, that translates to hollywood.

Ah, I remember that show. Now that you mention it, it is like a really simplified way of a cyberpunk tale. A coperate man is being waged war against a band of renegade bikers.

Angel_Paladin Ah, I remember that show. Now that you mention it, it is like a really simplified way of a cyberpunk tale. A coperate man is being waged war against a band of renegade bikers. oh, now that I'm watching them all over again I'm seeing it's not nearly as simple as it seems... the same corporate man captured them in the past, destroyed their family, and experimented on them, leaving them scarred, mutilated, and missing bodyparts...
