Not only did I have a bad weekend at work, but this morning I found out I missed my advisement appointment.
I made that appointment a ******** month ago and because I lost track of time and thought it was this Friday, I ******** missed it.

It's not your first semester so shouldn't you be able to just register on your own?

I need an advisor to try to get into this one class, otherwise I am screwed of a lot of money of all the crap courses I will have to take.

I feel your pain, I have to go to an advisor every semester in order to get a hold removed from my account cause I'm an engineer and engineers have all sorts of 'special' rules applied to them (such as not being able to take art classes without clearance).
They keep changing my advisor every semester, despite the fact that the whole purpose they have behind doing this is to have a consistant aide in the department to advise you on what classes to take next semester, and each semester sure enough I can never find the person during the scheaduled "advising week".
