So I got a laptop for my birthday. A small, shiny, black dual core laptop with like a shitton of gigs, RAM and, well, its a ******** dual core. Its HP and has Vista on it, but those are minor annoyances. Mostly, it can run WoW.
I've been playing WoW for almost two years now, and I have only a few level 20 alts and a 47 warrior to show for it. I got to play for maybe 4 hours a week, and thats enough to do maybe one instance, which is half a level if you're doing the right one. Slow-going. There were months where I didnt play at all. That was because I had to play it at a friend's house. My own computer couldnt run it. Now it can.
I know theres like no discussion at all attached to this but I AM SO ******** EXCITED. I'm going to get Vent, actually use my @ home spare time to level to 70, and actually go raiding once in awhile. It will be ******** GLORIOUS.

LOL @ HP.
Laptops suck. LCD screens of all kinds are exponentially worse for your eyes than CRTs.
Should've self-built a tower. People b***h that they're too big and heavy, but if you're smart and know what you're doing, you can build a tiny, light box that's still strong enough to protect all your parts.
NEWAYS.
Gratz on your computer. Play WoW to death, you'll be bored in a few months, np.

Hurray, lucky lucky you! Hope you enjoy teh WoW free-for-all. :3
I've only heard bad things about Vista, but I don't hate on HPs. Two of my three PCs have been HPs, & they were both fairly reliable. The other was a Compaq Presario, with WinME (I know, it's like, Carrie-styled horror). <_<
