I'm having a hard time feeling sympathetic for writers when their strike does so much damage to "the little people". I'd hate to be a cameraman or other crew member who gets laid off just before Christmas, all because some writers want more money for new media distributions and using the excuse that they couldn't agree on a Minimum Basic Agreement contract. Gets annoying to see all of these celebrities kissing up to these writers when they don't deserve it.

I'd never thought about it like that... good point!
It leads me to believe that some (or possibly most) of them aren't really that passionate about their jobs, which isn't a horrible thing, I guess. It will all work out in the end though, one way or another.

Yeah, it probably will. I really wouldn't be surprised if they fired all of these writers and hired the scab ones for full time. That happened in a local strike this past year rofl
Sad thing is, television networks are now flooding themselves with game show and reality shows. Well, more than before, which actually has me watching more TV. At least House won't get kicked off the air just so American Idol can get more airtime.

I don't really watch TV much. Instead I usually read, go on the computer, or play video games.
But some shows I like: MythBusters, Family Guy, Spongebob, House, Psych, Monk, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Burn Notice, Cold Case, and Law & Order: SVU.

Yeah, I just started watching Burn Notice and I feel stupid for waiting so long to catch it. USA is one of my favorite channels now.

I started watching Big O episodes I missed through On Demand and I've missed Cowboy Bebop. They should really throw that back into their main lineup again, even if it is old now.

Pretty much loving USA's Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice threesome. Then they had to go and ******** things up with The Starter Wife and In Plain Sight ngngh
