Okay, now that's a sign that you're doing something wrong. You should never, ever, ever, EVER have to put your info in manually.

We're going to have to go all the way back to Step 1. After you connect your 360 to the router, do a test connection and tell us which part of the test has failed.

That means there's something wrong with your modem or router. Make sure that it's on, and that it's properly working with your PC first (if it's not, turn the modem off, turn it back on, and try it again).

Then, turn the PC off and try the test again with the 360.

You can buy them at Circuit City or Radio Shack. But right now you don't need it, since your laptop is able to work online, which means that your router is fine.

So that must mean that your router is the problem. What brand is it, how many ports does it have in the back of it, and what else is being used by it?

Model #WRT54G? That's funny, that's the exact same thing I'm using.

Before I try to get technical with the router, I need to check if you're actually using the thing. Didn't you say you connected the 360 straight to the modem?

It should work, but the trick with Linksys routers is that you have to "unlock" the ports before they start to work. If you have a way of hooking another console or something through one of the ports to see if it works, then try it.

If it doesn't work, you may just want to buy a wireless adapter for your 360. There's a certain site that'll unlock the ports, but I forgot it. Then again, there's always Technical Support.
