 Shop Rules:~ You will NOT steal any art/ideas. If you do, you will be immediately blacklisted and never allowed to step foot in the clinic. If you have a job here, a child or an appointmant in the works, you will have them taken away. No questions asked. ~ New rule, OOC is allowed to be freed from ((...)) as of August 7, 2006~ No flaming, harrassing the Artists, nor other characters. Do so and you will first be warned and then be blacklisted. ~ If you wish to affiliate, please PM the Clinic mule with your shops banner. Help yourself to the banners that are provided. ~ If you are put on the Greylist or Blacklist, do not whine about it please. Just deal with it. RP Rules:~ You must keep in character. ~ No killing others, godmodding, or acting like a pure dumbass. Doing so will not be tollerated. You will be blacklisted. ~ Keep cursing to a minimum please. ~ Keep it moderately PG-13. ~ If you do not post more than At Least 3 days a week, you will be warned that your appointmant/child will be taken away. Unless you have a Haitus and have informed the mule, your child will eventually be given away.

April 2, 2007 The Forever Faithful Orphanage is complete and children are being taken away.
March 26, 2007 Wowee, Sky has completely spaced and forgotten to update the News. *flails* Well, the shop is slowly picking up speed again - growings have been enabled once again as well as 'rps' with the mule. Soon, the pets will start to be taken away from owners that haven't been around nor updated their journal in over 3-4 months.

 Licenziare was distraught over the loss of his first litter, after all, wouldn't you? He and his mate, Cin, burried thier children a few weeks after they died. But Licen, a Master Magician just like his mother, was stubbern and sought out his mothers' help. He needed permission from the High Council of Magicians to give him permission to research Soul Harvesting. It was a cry for help, and the feline agreed. Seeking the Councils' permission, he amazingly got it. The two immediately set off on thier research, Licen in charge and Izzi helping all he could, seeing as his magics' were limited to living things. Licenziare on the other hand, seemed to have a special ability in communicating with the dead, thus giving him the possibility to actually harvest the souls and place them into a body.
The hybrid spent months looking for his childrens souls and following requests of information and tests from the council, he was able to harvest souls, mix them with essenses of many things, and place them into a body given to him with the families permission and Legalization from both the Council and Court. Each time he placed a soul into the body, the physical appearance of the human body would change to match the souls previous body and the essense given to it. Each experiment was functional, eventually knew how to speek, and interestingly enough, knew some stuff from which the life they had before.
And yet, through all his work, he never was able to find his childrens' lost souls. He eventually gave up, knowing he could try again sometime later. Though with the new ability of his, he offered to put his services to work at Kilikana's new Maternity Clinic. Kana, of course, saw this as an opportunity and accepted, revamping his clinic and opening it to the public soon after Licen had collected a reasonable amount of souls and essense vials.
Each incoming parent would either be pregnant already, or hoping to have kids. If they were already with child, Kana would watch over them until the time came. When that time came, Izzi or Licenziare would take the baby for a day to another part of the clinic, where they would clean them up and make sure they were fine. If the parents wished to have thier child(ren) to have a seleced essense added to them, the Magicians' would do such. For incoming parents whom wished to agree with the terms that the Doctor had, they could choose to either have the child grown in a test tube, or carry it themselves. If they chose to carry, they would come for checkups to make sure everything was going according to plan, and at a certain month, the soul would be added to the infants' growing form. Once the child was born, like every other baby they would be taken to another part of the clinic to be cleaned and checked up on, but they would have thier essense added, completing thier body. Information on how they raise the test tube children is classified, seeing as only Kana and Izzi are allowed in this area.
A few months after hiring some new employees, the clinic is a busy bee hive, slowly catching up with the duties needed to be done. Kana isn't around much any more, ever since the death of his mate. He does come in on occasion to do some work and make sure everything is still functional. The head doctors son, Thomas, comes in with him sometimes, just to see how the employees are doing, then heads off to do more training with his teacher, Illium Bierland. Licen seems to have made close friends with Doctor Hero and her helpers, Midknight and Starlight. Hero wanted to repay the youth for helping them out and set off into the spirit realm to find the hybrids' lost children. The trio eventually found them and brought them over into the mortal realm, sealed in a specially designed orb. Licen was thrilled to have his children once again, and he names the adorable twins Richard and Gregory. Everyone at the Soul Maternity Clinic seems to be happy and delighted with their chances at a family.
The clinic is now, saddly, a slowly maddening hive. Things have started going missing, the twins are acting up, and Thomas seems to be hitting his hormonal stages. Everyone is on edge due to all the confusion from the parents not showing up when they are required to come to appointments.Story Written By Skysong Keitra

If your child's personality hadn't started manifesting before, it is certainly showing now. Beware the Terrible Twos! By this stage, most kids are eating solid foods or are well on their way to getting there. They are also learning to walk and talk properly, as well as get into things they shouldn't be.

The little baby is now a kid, and childhood means the start of whatever schooling you have in store. They are beginning to form opinions and start to need you a little less.
