LadyAlina Nah, they won't fit together. Yuki sees Tohru more of a mother figure than anything else, and I doubt Tohru would want to date a son, she'll keep having to mother him. She wants someone she can have sons with instead. Also, it is easier for Tohru to confide with Kyo, since he is there for her and can understand what she's going through, as compared with Yuki and his student council. I do prefer Yuki and Machi together though, as compared to Yuki and Tohru. I'm not that sure why yet, but I do like Machi's personality, and the fact that they both have this chemistry between them, that of boyfriend and girlfriend rather than mother and son. Yeah I guess I can agree with you..It makes sense. Anyway Kyo Already has Tohru. Soo....I heart all the fruits basket couples...

Yeah, same here! My favourite paring would have to be Kyo/Tohru, followed by Yuki/Machi, then Haru/Rin. Funny thing is, even though I really cannot stand both Yuki and Rin, their other halves seem redeem them in my eyes, and make them seem . . . well . . . somewhat less irritating.
Heh, if Yuki and Rin pair up I think I'll kill myself!
