lol
I know, that's why I put documentory in "quotes".

I'm just here to play "devils advocate."

I would however like to know where you found this information about moon rocks being retrieved on Appollo 11?
I have looked on the Nasa website and nothing. What' I've found is moon rocks being retrieved in the 70's...
Maybe I'm not looking right?

Here are a few links I started tracking at Wikipedia since it is almost never wrong and then verify once I know what to look for on "more credible" sites.

What other contries have been to the moon?

I started thinking about it the other day... and come to think of it, I'm not sure.

WikipediaI found the first human who went to space though?

He was Russian...and according to wikipedia...the first sattelite to orbit the earth was Russian?

But...I haven't found anything on Russia going to the moon?

Russia has landed a few landers on the moon iirc. Additionally, I know that Russia was the first to send a satellite around to the far side of the moon (not the dark side) and get pictures. This is the reason that if you see a map of the far side, almost all of the crater names are Russian.

So far though, America is the only nation to have landed a human on the moon.

Actually I linked to the Wikipedia moon hoax site earlier (although I think I messed it up with parenthesis, it contains pretty thorough debunking of just about every argument made by the hoax conspirators).

here it is again if anyone cares

Also VoijaRisa has the right of it, Russia is the only other country I know to have sent probes to the moon although I don't believe anyone else has landed there.

I will do some digging and see if I can find any other other countries that have sent probes there (I think Europe and some Asian countries may have sent a few relativly recently but I am not sure).

I know the ESA has sent a few (including SMART-1 which was intentionall impaced on the surface after a successful mission last year) and I believe Japan as well.

prehaps the reason the flag was waving was because in space, when you move somthing it keeps on moving, just as a coin. you throw it or even poke it it goes on forever. unless an astroid or somthing stops it or sets it off in another direction

Quote:
seeming discrepancy in Apollo imagery: Pictures of astronauts transmitted from the Moon don't include stars in the dark lunar sky which they claimed to be an obvious production error!

I am going to say that we have been to the moon... and yes they do not show any stars... but you also have to think about this... can you see stars very well in any brightly lit area? Like a city for instance? Not really... which is why they tend to put observatories that are on Earth's surface, on/in/around more mountain like (most of the time) regions, to get away from the light that a city brings. Also another reason is, is that Earth has a thick atmosphere, which makes it difficult to see stars at times.
But in the case of the moon, the astronauts were in an area that was well lit by the Sun, and or other equipment that they brought with them.
Just my opinion...
