OK XBOX LIVE IS STARTING TO PISS ME OFF!

Ok last night I figured I would try to get on live. So I take an internet/phone jack wire put it into the back of my 360 and put the other end in my wireless router. So I put in halo 2 Try to go on Xbox live it says it cant so I start the trouble shooter, I wait a few seconds and it says, disconnected. So I retryed and retryed but it wont work. I created an Xbox live account.

Can anybody help?

Um phone jack wire??? You need an RJ-45 cable....

...s**t im a dumb ******** is a RJ-45 The internet wires that came with the 360 cuase if they are im ********. Intructions would be nice.

LOL yes RJ-45 is the wires that come with the 360... You simply need another one of those. Just plug and go that's about it.

Ok So I need to buy another one and hook it from the Back of my Xbox into where>? And naother one and put it where? Its Tearing me Apart!

.....I thought maybe somebody would help me better than this.....Ok so one into the back of my 360 into my wall (I dont have that big of jack in my house) and the other wire into....?

Erk.. You can;t be serious right.... What is so hard about wire into Xbox.. Same wire into end out router... Do you even know what a router is? Depending on the model it will look something like this in the back

You plug that cable that is plugged into your Xbox into one of the 4 lan ports as labeled...

He said he already subscribed to Xbox Live. So whatever connection setup he had, it was good enough to connect to Xbox Live and subscribe him under Gold/Silver membership.

Unless, he doesn't have a Gold/Silver Gamertag, then he'll say it right now.

you don't happen to have dail up do you? because you can't use dail-up to connect to x-box live.
