i was playing for the ps2 and i was in an alley outside and i whisted for the guard to come over so i could kill him...he said "that does not sound like a rat" when he heard me whistle. so i pressed the whistle button again and fisher said "your right, its not a rat". i just sat there and laughed for like 5 minutes...

Really? What happened next? What level? I've never heard Sam talk during a mission unless he's interrogating a gaurd, talking to a contact or coop person (like Hishham or Washington), or talking to Echelon/JBA. He whistles and sometomes grunts when he is physical like climbing a pipe, carrying a body, or was shot. But I never heard him talk to a gaurd unless there's a knife to his throat or a gun to his head. Maybe I've ranted to much... sweatdrop question ninja

i was shocked when he did that. i dont remember the level though. it might have bin jba headquarters...but im not shure. also i pressed the whistle button RIGHT after the guard said "hey man, that dosnt sound like a rat". so sam replied "your right, its not". so the guy like flipped out and ran towards me like an idiot. so i shot him in the head. also sam does say "pst" or "pst, hey" if the guards r rly close when u whistle.

Hehe, yeah, I did notice that. I wish Sam could walk up to them, let thier gaurd down, then attack them. Like it the book, "Operation Barracuda" Sam goes up to a chinese Gaurd here's the conversation:
Sam: Hey, how often do you guys take out the trash?
Gaurd: What?
Sam: The trash. It stinks, how often do you take it out? Oh, wait, sorry, it's just you.
That pisses the gaurd off, He throws a punch, Sam grabs his arm and knocks him out.
I also wish there was better Hand-to-hand combat. Like when you come in contact with the gaurd you push the non/lethal button and engage him in combat, kinda like in DA current Gen when the JBA members try and arrest you at HQ. A sequence of buttons should appear and you and the computer face off. Who ever does it the fastest and most accurate wins the fight, and you should actually see it while pushing the buttons. Have it look sorta like the Fisher/Shetland fight at the end of CT. The gaurds could hurt you whether or not you win, and you should be able to do things like take out knee-caps or punch them in the stomache. Oops, I've ranted...

There's a LOT of things that can improve in DA. I would also like it if you could aim faster and shoot better. Or if you grab someone you have branches of chioces. Like if you chose to kill you could have: Break neck Break back Slit throat Strangle or if you chose to knock out Cut off airway Pistol whip punch or if you talk you could have Interrogate taunt. You get it? That's only for CT and under. There are so many mistakes in DA I won't go there.

Tons of mistakes. DA is the blacksheep of the family(360/ps3/pc mostly).

I have DA for the 360 and it's graphics are good but the gameplay isn't that good and there are a lot of glitches, but then again, it's the only splinter cell game I have, I want another but I can't find a good one, are there any ones where you can play two people on the same console?

Yeah, it works. So does that orginal XB version of DA. You might want to check it out because I think it's better than the 360 version. smile
