I was looking at one of my favorate blogs on myspace. It more of a philosophy thing, so you have readers of all political beliefs who read it. Well I decided to take a look at the comments and I found a response that wasn't pro-life, but from someone with an obviously pro-life display name. I decided to take a look at the profile and I saw so much blatent racism I just stopped dead. Poor white people, getting discriminated so much! As a white girl in a black area who's never been discriminated in her life, I found that a little funny. It reminded me of the 2006 senator debates in Virginia (an hour of Jim Webb and George Allen agreeing that rich white strait guys like them have it tough and both vowing to change that).
I wanted to post a quote of some of the crap, but my code of honor prevents it. Sorry!
But I'll summarize it for you:
White people have it hard. Black people are lazy jerks and everything that's happened to them since slavery is their own fault. God made white people smarter and we need to take pride in that. We should stop allowing interracial marriage because we need more blondes with blue eyes. Hail Hitler!
And next to the racism there was a touch of sexism, but now much more than you see with most 'lifers. But they seemed to believe the fetus is a God or something. Seriously. I wonder what they think about minority fetuses...
