Kadokawa Shoten Publishing Co., Ltd. (株式会社角川書店, Kabushiki-gaisha Kadokawa Shoten?) is a well-known Japanese publisher, based in Tokyo.(TYO: 9477 )
It has published many manga titles as well as anime magazine Newtype. In recent years, it has expanded into the multimedia sector (namely video games) and now owns the former Daiei Motion Picture Company, which may or may not have been connected with the supermarket chain of the same name.
