Alright well out of curiosity I created this thread to see who's pro or con with the Inflation in the MP. Many gaians are con with it due to the fact that there questing although other wealthier gaians find it pro due to the fact that they gain more gold.

It's a con, every one can rack up millions of gold to get cool outfits. Inflation makes having nice things exclusive.

Inflation is nice for new users, because they can quest items more easily than if they were more expensive.

But not nice because all of those which donated in 2k5-2k6, all of those that stockpiled one or two items, or all of those (like me) that had 2k4-2k5 letters-items in the past, are worthing really low compared to before.

Let's tell my story. I'm on Gaia since Sept 2004 (but well, since before but it's a dark zone and I'm not gonna tell it), and in Jan 2005, for a reason I don't remember, I forgot Gaia, or I became inactive. Then after 2 years of inactivity, I came back in Jan 2007. I saw all the items 2k5-2k6, and I said "waw, I worth 6.7 millions!". I thought it will still grow with time, that I will have possibility to buy nice 2k5-2k6 items that I missed. Cowl... Now in near end april, let's get in short. I donated for having 120 letters since jan 2007, yeah I loss a golden Laurels in a bad sell, I gained 200k in posting-daily chance-(not so many)wooden-giftboxes-...-market_businessman-etc. But well, from 6.8M of January, now I'm in 5M in april, or in good counting, I would worth +- 7.5M at least (-555k +200k +1200+). So i'm a bit frustrated about the deflation of the items, and even if Gaia is a nice Game, even if there are good items, good friends... I think with this inflation I'll less willing to donate for having MC letters.

Depends how I look at it, but I'm mostly con, because it's bad for business.... and generally unstable... @_@
I'm pro, when I really need the item, and if it is at the lower possible inflated price!
so overall, I'm CON!!!!
