Well, that was an easy question. "I would have fought back as much as I could." He simply said. Death was not something he feared. But he wasn't about to show weakness if someone had attacked him. He would have not ran. He would have fought back as much as he could until his body gave up on him. His tail thumped on the ground next to him. "I don't back down from fights." He added. His voice showed how exhausted he was.

Letting out a sigh and closing his eyes, Yin spoke with a straight tone. "What if you had died?" This was rather important for him to know. "What if you couldn't defend your partner?" His voice sounded more serious then Thona had ever heard before. Yin cared of nothing in the world other then keeping his own pack protected and didn't want to invite someone in that wasn't going to defend over attack.
Flicking his wing, Yin sat in silence as he waited for Thona's reply. The response from the tuckered down Ulaya will finalize him being welcomed into the pack or not. Yin didn't care about the greatest hunt, or even if Thona could fight at all. He wanted to see him prove that he could handle things under pressure in a situation he wasn't normally used to. Keeping his eyes closed they sat in silence for a few seconds before a response was heard.

He knew this question too. "I'd give enough of a distraction for her to get out pretty fastly. If I would die, then I would die, at least she would get away. If he followed her, she'd at least make it back to your pack before the said attacker could actually get to her." He had thought this over before hand when he noticed there was someone close by.
He wasn't totally heartless, he would rather sacrifice himself then a female ulaya. He watched the god with his full attention. He felt tired, yet still didn't show much of it except in his voice and his eyes. Though, he knew the god didn't need to see those to know he was tired.

Yin closed his eyes and nodded before raising from his spot and walking away back to the forest. He didn't feel he needed to say much for he was sure Thona knew what was in his mind. Stepping down the small hill he passed Houndour and glanced out of the corner of his eye, still keeping as silent as ever. His ears stayed forward as he stepped into the woods and disappeared into the darkness.

Keeping his eyes fixed on the god as he passed by, Houndour closed them and continued his way back to the center of the clearing. Slowly pacing himself he paused once he reached Thona and Akumu and watched the leopard spotted Ulaya rest on the ground. Giving a blind and an unsure stare he finally spoke up. "Welcome to the pack."
Stepping around him, Houndour walked over to Akumu and sat down. Checking her over for any visible wounds or marks that may need some tending to he bowed his head and then rested his chest down on the ground. He always protected Akumu and would have had to resist the urge to hurt Thona if she returned injured.

Thona watched as the god stand up and walked away. Thona didn't even care if he got an answer yet. His body was too tired. He collapsed to the ground and his eyes fell shut until he noticed another had walked up. Though, he'd been there for a while, Thona had just took some notice to him.
Words came out of him yet he couldn't quite catch them. Something about being in the a pack. Did he just say he was in this pack? He watched the other walk over to the female ulaya and lay down. Thona lifted up his head a moment and looked at the other for a moment before nodding and laying his head back down.
