o: Did any of you guys go to the National Japan Bowl in Washington DC? O:
My school's Japanese 3 class won 1st place! o: But when Chris, the student in our team, received the gold trophy, it broke off at the handle. xD So he was standing on the stage with the trophy handle, and everyone was staring at the rest of the trophy that was rolling on the floor. rofl
o: I didn't join the team, but I heard it was so much fun! o:

That shows how much effort/money DC puts into buying a good trophy, doesn't it? rofl I've never been to the DC competition, but I've been to the local ones. It's actually really fun. 3nodding

I live in Maryland, very close to D.C. actually...I've heard of the Japan Bowl. I'm glad that my school is finally offering Japanese 1 next year, but I wonder if we'll be able to enter the JBowl...congrats to your school, by the way! It must be very exciting...don't the winners get a trip to Japan?

Regardless of which, our Japanese program offers a trip to Japan at the end of the school year anyway. whee
It's quite exciting. xD
@Kita: Yar. xD Sensei had to super-glue the handle back onto the plastic trophy. gonk
