ok, so as the title says, global warming...
some ppl say that it will end the world, i agree, that we shouldn't pollute our world and all that, but i don't think it is going to make a big difference..
the earth works in shifts, it has its cold times, and its warm. 40 years ago, ppl claimed another ice age was coming, now they claim we are all going to melt rolleyes
idk, sure, there is a lot of evidence showing that things are melting, but, i don't think it is going to make a big difference
here are my main points:
1: God promised never to flood the earth again...
2: God doesn't plan to end the earth like that, which leads to number 3..
3: the rapture
4: all that good earth evidence the scientists have, you know the ones that thought we were all going to freeze? rolleyes
ok, so ur thoughts on global warming, and remember i have no problem with keeping the earth clean, but i don't think global warming is really going on here... biggrin

Do you know anything, anything at all about climate? We are creating more and more carbon which is holding in the heat from the sun. As a result, we are heating up. It's basic science.
1: God promised never to flood the earth again...
God's not flooding the earth. We are.
2: God doesn't plan to end the earth like that, which leads to number 3..
Verse. Also, the world wouldn't come to an end. It'd just be irreversibly changed.
3: the rapture
neutral
4: all that good earth evidence the scientists have, you know the ones that thought we were all going to freeze?

It's good to keep thinking on every angle and not be quieted even if there are disagreements. I tend to think that we do a lot of damage to the planet. You're not alone in thinking that global warming is actually just a heating trend in the earth's natural cycle. So while I do tend to think that the planet is messed up by a lot of pollution, I also know that God knew we would get to this point. So if God knew we would get to this point, perhaps He might be intervening sometimes so that as many as possible will have the chance to receive His salvation? I do lean toward the global warming, but not completely sure what God's plan is on this because He does have the right to let us mess things up when we leave Him out of it.

go to minnesota and you'll find that global warming likes to hang out there...sometimes by Penn...other times by russel...I don't know...he hangs out a lot of places in minnesota mon! xd

um yeah i kinda did a thiesis paper of the creation of the world and its impausible that the world went through an iceage.
snow and ice reflect the sun.
the less snow and ice the more energy absorbed by earth.
once the ice and snow is gone the earth cannot absorb any more energy.
tempeture starts to level.

The fact that global warming exists is becoming less of a debate. Now it is shifting to "Is nature causing it or us?"
I think both sides contribute to this. Obviously volcanoes release a lot of greenhouse gases, and obviously we do to.
Remember that if global warming is happening it will eventually lead to a mass freeze. The reason is that the heat would melt the ice caps, and the surge of cold water would disrupt the oceanic convection current that distributes warmth around the globe. The current would stop, and that would eventually lead to parts of the Earth with extremely cold temperatures and parts of the Earth with extremely hot temperatures, if it is happening of course. (I believe it is).

Global warming I think is for something for people to whine about and do nothing about it. I think that their intentions are good, but the earth isn't going to burn up or whatever the heck they think. they have no proof except for the fact that we are causing too much pollution. it's a hoax. why I don't know, but it's a good reminder that we don't take care of our planet.

there's no such thing as global warming. It's a climate cycle. We're actually due for another ice age in the next couple of thousands of years. Right now we're just at a peak in the cycle.

Global warming doesn't exist. think of it this way. have you ever looked at snow on a sunny day. Ice Reflex Sunlight cool . (1)When ice melts more energy can be absorbed be earth, making it warmer, and melting more ice faster.
(2) this doesn't have to do with Rapture/Global warming. But i bet you didn't know this. Earth was never in a global iceage. there would of been enough ice that so not enough energy was absorbed, causeing it to remain frozen.

My Dad was a farmer - this is one of his favorite verses.

I'm old enough I remember the next ice age being forecasted in the 70's. I'm skeptical of global warming, but do think we should be doing all we can to keep the earth clean. Ultimately, GOD IS IN CONTROL!
