My parents don't read at all. It's kind of depressing xD The only book my parents own is one about our family history. I don't think they've even read that.
So if I ever need a book I ask my boyfriend or go to the libraryxD

I read my mom's and my aunt's books. We have a lot of the same tastes, and they have money to buy the books. Plus, they can tell me if its worth the time or not.

I have never been that bored... if I run out of books, I can force my parents into taking me to the library or a book store......
I guess I luckyer than most in that respect... They like it that I like to read. Even though we don't have the same tastes (Dad=paperback jiant sci-fi, Mom=romance, Me=horror, suspence, action.)
Oh well, feeling sorry for those who have to read boredom books...

I've been reading my parents books for the past few years. My dad has a large amount of sci-fi, which I love, and my mom has a fair amount of the classics, which I tend to enjoy more than I thought I would. I also have plenty of my own books, but they aren't all the sort I want to keep re-reading
