Did this for the gaming forum under the topic heading "Rantings of a Sega fanboy". They looked like they needed a good laugh, so I did this with nothing better to do.
"The following is a joke, with a bit of exaggerated humor and personal opinion. Have fun.
Or perhaps Sega truly is into decline. The forces of evil are in full swing. The entities of unspeakable terror are on the prowl and will not rest until all that is good and holy is destroyed.
Yes, my friends...........I speak of Microsoft.........and EA Sports. Microsoft, not content with it's iron grip on the computer industry has turned attention to the gaming industry. It has yet to show any signs of being able to stop the titans that stand as Sony and Nintendo, so we have little to fear from this threat as of now........but Sega........Sega Sports was bought out by EA Sports. Tis' a ponderous franchise of darkness and repetition..........engulfing all in it's path, it provided Sega Sports with no alternative but to submit to it's torrent of horror........
Now I fear that Sega itself may eventually fall prey to the same fate......the forces of Sonic Team have sought refuge with Nintendo and Sony, but have also tainted their hands with Microsoft's handshake of doom........think about it........how many bad Sonic games were there before Heroes (First Sonic game on the X-Box)? I dare say not many!
Help us Shigeru Miyamoto...Yuji Naka....you're our only hope."
It's mostly embelished evil-speak, but it was a lot of fun to write, and there is some truth in there. Every time I share this, Microsoft fanboys feel a disturbance in the force.
