I was taking a questionnaire handing out by a local college. A lot of the questions had to do with how you spend your time. 'How much time a week do you spend watching TV?' and such. Questions 16 & 17 were:

"How much time to you spend doing your homework?"

"When do you spend do your homework?"

Pfft! That's not a college, it's a clandestine group of n00bs masquerading as a college. That's still funny as hell, though.

The people responsible for writing the questionnaire should question why they are in college if they write questions as redundant and badly written like that.

It's sounds to me like the person who wrote it might have had their mind going too fast for their hands to keep up. And the way the sentence is written, it seems to me like just an honest mistake in word placement. I know for a fact I'm guilty of this at times. o_o Who isn't?

I agree with SonarP, but still if it is from a college they should at least have some commen knowledge to check over their work before having people fill it out.

Love grammar errors when they are in tests. I corrected my math test grammar wise, and teacher doc'ed points from it for that... :

It's "common," comrade. And yes, they should have the basics down like second-nature. It should be second-nature, actually. stare

It's more redundant and annoying than the announcer on one of those TV commercials.

(insert Family Guy clip of Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube Men commercial)

I just find that part extremely funny just now. Family Guy moment. lol
