If she had made more of it in the books, then that would probably have been better, because (and don't hit me for this), the only other positive gay role model I can think of offhand is Captain Jack. Saying it now just makes me think that she wants to stay in the press despite the fact that the series has finished.
Yeah, exactly. Captain Jack was shown as gay from the start, which made it a whole lot easier to get used to. And he rocks. So..yeah..
In fact, never once did I think that of Dumbledore in the books, and yet my mind is an odd one of sorts. So...I have to agree that it's probably for press and whatnot. *sigh*

Personally, I don't know why she said that. It really didn't make any sense, I mean, it wasn't in context to anything. Lots of people are being really bitchy about it, irl. Which makes me pissed off.
