I read the crying one most because I'm an extreme RoyAi fan... and that spells out RoyAi to me...
Not to mention she breaks down... So sad...

I can relate. First of all all my friends like Bleach, Naruto, and kinda girly stuff like Ouran and Haruhi Suzumiya (that's not to say I don't watch them occasionally) but when we do get into a brief FMA chat they always ask me why I like Riza. I have no way to respond. Like others have said, she's a great character and just about the only thing that keeps Roy from doing absolutely nothing all day. She's tough, she's clever, and independent.
But I have to note I don't like Winry a ton, but I don't hate her. She's like a average type character in my mind. To me she comes off as a bit of a whiner and crybaby and doesn't really affect the show or manga except when she starts bawling.
Riza Rocks and is completely the best female character in all of FMA!
