It was a nothing new, nothing special day. It just ran together with every second of every other day, it was begining to dawn upon Kelvit that he was doomed to have a life of dull and dreary days. The quickly darkening skies didn't surprise him. He knew it was going to rain sooner or later. Kelvit kept a slow pace. What fun was running and being care free when there was no one to be carefree with?

One by one the cool drops trickled down from the sky, in contrast to the rather warm day. His face turned and looked up. He just stood there, wondering if it was going to sprinkle for long, or just downpoor with thunder and lightning. My, wouldn't that be horrible. It would add to his boring weeks upon weeks.

Kelvit sighed and continued along before stopping once again. He would rather stay in the slowly falling rain than go hide under anything. It dawned upon him that maybe he was just un-likeable. He hadn't even seen his dearheart Kunta for such a long time. And maybe wouldn't see her ever again.

Maybe it was time to look for new friends, at least for awhile.

With a sad heart he whispered to himself, "Farewell Dearheart, at least for now." And he Pushed her to the back of his mind, in hopes of finding someone else to make a friendship with.

Lucky for Kelvit, Kali was not her mother. In fact, she seemed almost the opposite. Short, for her bloodlines, carrying more after her grandmother. Except, for the fact that her grandmother was a dun and her mother a palomino. Kali herself looked more like her father than anything, as did most of her siblings.

Except for Espera, but Kali hadn't heard much of her. Perhaps it was well, for the world only needed one Storm.

She'd managed to escape from Lilith for a time. Not that she didn't like her sister's company, but solitude was not something that was easy to comeby, especially with the ever increasing fear that the Katilenuck might find her one night. She didn't know how fast or how far she could run. There was certainly no hope in fighting them, even if there had only been one. She wondered if Velg'larn had the same issues with defence.

However, she wouldn't be musing long, for not to far away, through the pattering rain was a prospect. He looked beaten, battered, depressed. An idea flicked into her mind, and she smiled gently. Here was someone who probably had something to say to her, and with a little bittle of loving care she might be able to coax it out of them.

"Oy there!" she called trotting slowly towards him. "You alright?"

Kelvits hopes soar while his face brightened for only a moment before his hope came crashing down and his face fell a mile. He knew already it wasn't anyone that he wanted to see, the voice he wanted to hear. Pushing Kunta out of his mind was difficult and hearing the voice of a new female only helped in opening up a little wound in his heart.

Kelvit never realized how much someone could mean to him before...

He slowly turned his face towards the voice and opened his big brown eyes to look at it's owner and sighing before taking a slow step towards the aparent 'her.'

"No." Kelvit whined out in a deep voice. He was pathetic and pitiful. The weather seemed to mirror his mood. Sad and Dreary. "I just... Don't feel to much like myself."

It was a good reason, if only half true. Kelvit was usually strong, energetic, happy, and in to mood for running around. But something so small as an injury of the heart took him from an all time high, to an all time low. And he didn't like it one bit.

Oh damn. Kali could have rolled her eyes, had the formentioned creature not been standing right in front of her. She hated people that 'felt sorry for themselves', and simply 'couldn't make it in their lives'. She looked at him and couldn't see any physical damage, so how could there be anything wrong with him?

Perhaps someone like Xla'Lanan would have sided with the stallion before her, but not Kali. Her job was to spread the word, a task which she was finding increasingly annoying. Mother was right, everbody was just a bunch of ********," she said with a half attempt, there was obviously no exciting stories to get here. "And why might that be?"

He probably just woke up the wrong way this morning and decided the world was falling on his head.

For some reason the girl close to him seemed annoyed, only making Kelvit a bit annoyed as well. Maybe he was already irritated at the fact of he thought he was perfect in every perspective and was left by someone that he thought in turn was perfect too.

His dark sad eyes hardened a bit and he snorted. "And why might that be?" he mimmiced in an impolite way, his voice abnoxious and loud.
"That isn't any of your bussiness now is it?"

He was usually calm and collected but there was just something that really didn't appeal to him. Maybe it was all of his saddness that was slowly bubbling into a fitful rage, one that made his teeth grind with insensitiviy and hatred.

His anger subsided for a moment as Kelvit pulled himself together and spoke in a hard tone. "My 'friends' as you might have called them are gone. Every one of them." He failed to mention that the only "friend" he really had was Kunta, but he didn't want to seem like the idiot Kali might have taken him for.

"What is your name anyways?" He made sure that 'your' was inficised.
