With a grin, Bhel twisted the doorknob to the Fa'e headquarters and shoved it open dramatically. He could never quite fully remember the whole set of directions to get here, but arriving always meant something fun. And with how often his guardian was willing to lead him to this place, Bhel never had to worry about his poor sense of direction.
They were probably visiting someone else today, and Bhel had staunchly insisted on wearing his new white skirt in spite of Kumoru's attempts to get him to wear something else. Bhel had thrown a rather passionate fit when the mage tried to force him into the grey skirt or the brown one instead, and ultimately the bull had not only gotten his way about what to wear, but had also been granted permission to wear a towel as a cape.
So he looked good. Today was a great day for meeting people. Bhel bound into the front room of the Fa'e headquarters like a miniature Napoleon here to claim the whole place for himself.
Kumoru followed Bhel in, hands tucked into the opposite sleeves of his robes and his face the perfect picture of stoic annoyance. His ears still rang from the fit Bhel had thrown, but at least they were here now and the boy could entertain himself for a while, or until Lucien showed up.
At least he would be able to praise the young Fa'e's lung capacity to his father when the scorpion Fa'e arrived.

This was a meeting that Lucien had very much looked forward to but at the same time was a bit nervous about. It had been so long since had seen his children and now he was going to meet up with one of them again, to see his son. He was heading up the path to the HQ, a place that he hadn't been to in what felt like forever and if he was corrected in his memory it had been over a year maybe? The last time he recalled coming here was in his search for Keir. That was a long, long while back.
He reached his hand out to the door knob wondering if he were late or not, he pushed the door open slipping inside before he closed it after himself. He looked aroudn before spotting Kumoru. He moved towards him, wondering of the man would recognize him with all of the changes that he had been through, the loss of his tail and claw, his hair getting cut, his eyes fading from red the a light brown, so many changes... Before he could say anything though his gaze caught on and held when he saw him, his son.
Lucien's eyes went wide and he felt for a moment almost dizzy at the sight, "Bhel." He murmured.

The necromancer was settling down on one of the sofas, but when he saw Lucien enter he rose to his feet again. Or... that was Lucien, was it not? The last times he had seen the man it had been in either the darkness of the woods at night, or in the chaos of that hospital room when Bhel and his sister had been born. But the one who had just entered most certainly lacked the claw and tail that had made Lucien so easy to spot in a crowd.
"Lucien?" the mage said, striding towards him and offering a bow in greeting. He still had the red in his hair, though it was much shorter, and the way he looked at Bhel... well, it looked parental enough. "How have you been?"
Hopefully that was the right way to ask it. He definitely remembered Aylana's telling him about the falling out she had had with Lucien, and the necromancer hoped that it was not still a point of upset for the Fa'e.
Bhel picked up his knee-length skirt to wipe his nose on it, then let it fall back around his legs as he saw the newcomer. ... Truth be told, even after puzzling through his limited memory of faces, Bhel could not place this man. But he felt some connection regardless.
On top of that, the bull thought he heard the other man say his name. Or it had sounded close enough, at least. Flicking his tail out behind him, Bhel lowered his head a little and ran towards the man. It was a "friendly" charge, if there could be such a thing, not really meant to hurt anyone, but then what toddler running around haphazardly ever really meant to hurt or break things?
It was a great outlet for all this energy, at least. And Bhel wanted to see what the new man would do about it! He laughed a little.

Lucien gave a smile and a nod, good the man had indeed recognized him despite the changes? That was good, "Hello again Mr. Kumoru its been a while." He said, glad that he had been able to get in contact with the man about setting up this meeting, "I thank you for coming out here for a visit."
He looked down at Bhel seeing the boy charging him and he braced himself for it... though even then he found himself taking a step back when the boy connected with his legs. He gave a bit of a laugh, "Wow! A nice charge you have there." He complimented the boy, kneeling down in front of Bhel so to be closer to his level, "Had I not seen you coming I no doubt would have went flying."
Lucien lifted his gaze up to look over to the mage again, "I am not doing to bad, just got back from a trip in fact. How about you? How are things going with you, with him?" He was quite curious to know about all that he had missed so far when it came to Bhel.

Smiling and laughing a little, Bhel put both of his hands against his father's chest and tried to push him over. It only felt right to show off his great toddler strength and prowess to his man, for whatever reason. And Bhel found it quite amusing, too.
Whoever this guy was, the bull Fa'e liked him.
"Bhel and I went on a trip a little while back, when he was still a baby, to France. Weird trip, but it was an errand for someone else." He sighed, frowning a little as he remembered how little control he had had over the whole thing. "I think Bhel enjoyed himself well enough, though. He got to see some cave paintings."
The necromancer fell silent for a moment as he noted not for the first time that he seemed to receive far less enthusiastic responses from Bhel than either of his parents or his sister. It was a little frustrating, but Kumoru reminded himself that really, he was not family to the boy by any means. Only natural that he would prefer his own kin.
"He grew not long after we got back from that trip," Kumoru went on, shifting his weight to one foot as he watched Bhel. He grabbed his ponytail and twisted the black hair around his hand once. "He's seen his sister a few times, and his mother, too. I'm just glad I could get hold of you, too. He seems to really like you."

Lucien flailed his arms a little bit then fell back onto his backside, laughing a bit. The way he had been knelt down sorta put him off balance and at the mercy of the small boy's pushing, not that he had tried to hard to stay up it would be funner for Bhel this way he guessed. He looked up at Kumoru to show that he was in fact listening while he played with Bhel before looking back to him, "Ooo. You went to France, huh? That sounds fun. I went to Greece myself, great place though I was a little awkward not knowing the language. Maybe you guys can come there with me sometime?" An open ended offer as to when since Lucien knew he would be going back there from time to time since he had a bit of an obligation to the place now.
He looked from Bhel to Kumoru and back again, "You've seen Mitsuoujo? How is she doing? I haven't got to see her yet." He wasn't doing very good at this parenting thing was he? He wanted to try to do better though, forge real relationships with the twins if it were possible. Lucien looked back to Bhel giving the boy a bright smile, "I am glad that he likes me, makes me happy."

"Thank you, but I think I should probably stay at home in this world for the time being, since I have other children, too," the mage replied. "Perhaps when Bhel is older, we can travel more. Thank you for the offer, though."
The necromancer knit his brows as he tried to recall how the meeting with Mitsuoujo had gone; it had been a little while. "She seemed alright, as I recall. Quieter than this one." He smiled a little and nodded to Bhel.
Bhel giggled as he toppled Lucien, then sat down beside him on the carpet. He tried to grab onto his father's vest and pull on it, in an effort to start some sort of wrestling game. Even though they were indoors and not outside in the grass and dirt, rolling around on the floor was a great way for Bhel to break in his white skirt.

Lucien gave a nod before looking to Bhel with a grin, "Thats cool, figured I'd offer since I have a sort of job there now." The offer could stay as the open sort for whenever they did want to go, well when they could at least, "Thats good to hear, I need to see about setting up a visit with her too."
Lucien gave a grin when Bhel caught hold of the vest he wore, reaching out to wrap an arm around the boy before he fell back onto his back pulling Bhel with him. He was careful with the play as he didn't want to risk hurting his son as he wasn't sure exactly how tough boy's were at this age. Best to be cautious.

Bhel squealed with glee and started trying to pound on his father's shoulder with his fists. All in good fun, of course.
"Pa!" he exclaimed, grinning and flicking his tufted tail at Lucien's knees.
Smiling a little, Kumoru bowed slightly to the pile of Lucien and Bhel on the floor. "Well, I can leave you two to enjoy each other's company, if you'd like. I'll just step out of the picture for now," he said, then went to go sit on a sofa at the far side of the room.

The youth couldn't help but laugh at the exuberance that his son showed for the wrestling game, he then lifted up his arms to 'defend' against the boy's fists then pretended to collapse, "Ahh... I've been defeated..." He said, eyes closed for a moment.
He then grinned and started to tickle Bhel, if he were like his mother or father in the area of tickling this wouldn't be considered very fair.

Flicking his tail upwards triumphantly, Bhel kicked at the floor with his hooves and laughed. Haha, he had certainly won an excellent victo- oh no, tickling! Squealing as Lucien went for his ribs, the bull Fa'e balled his chubby hands into fists again and tried to knock his dad's hands away. He was strong for his age and size, but Bhel also seemed to be a bit lagging in the hand-eye coordination department.
(( Sorry for taking so long. I should be quicker now; school's out! ))
