I need help on stenciling or whatever it's called onto a t-shirt. I've read different ways, but it all involves alot of items and alot of time.

Well it's gonna take a bit of time razz
The way I do it, is I print out what I want to put on the shirt (words are tough) and make a stencil out of card stock or projection paper (some people use freezepaper) Once I do that, I attatch the stencil to where I want it to be, using tape and whatnot on a very flat surface.
You can buy those tubes of acrylics from walmart for 1 or 2 dollars, and they work just fine. I use some kind of spongebrush, and dab, don't stroke, or it will bleed. Once it tries, put a towel overtop and run it over with an iron (this step isn't NECESSARY but it helps the paint stay - if you don't do it, it fades quicker, which actually has kind of a neat look)
