The pastor at our church likes to give advice that's not usually taken from the bible, and he said(which I entirely disagree with) that you should not date until you found the person you want to marry. That's the whole point of dating though gonk

That's the whole point of dating though gonk Hehehe agreed. Maybe he meant to say until you're ready to get married though. *shrugs* I know a lot of people who think along those lines. My neighbor finds dating completely pointless at our age because "it's not like you're gonna marry the dude." But I date and I have to say this in my defense...defence...you know I can't seem to spell anything today gonk anyway, this is what I have to say: Two of the guys I dated (out of three) are definite keepers and I wouldn't be surprised if the Lord willed me to marry one of them. Some people know their partners all their lives, even if they haven't dated them all their lives. I'm pretty sure the same is true for me. Besides, I like having all this extra time to date them before I'm old enough to marry. Growing up with someone you would like as a partner just kinda...to me it's like showing you guys CAN go through hard times, you guys CAN grow old together, and you guys CAN make it the rest of your life. That's my outlook on it.

ScarredImage DaNcErCuTeE4God I do have this opinion on dating, the guy must be in pursue!!! If a guy isn't willing to pursue me, they can forget it! But, i also hate that "hard to get" thing. I mean, if you like the guy, why confuse him? I personally think it's stupid. But, i do like the idea of the guy coming to meet the parents(hehe, reminds me of ben stiller), but not necessarily having to "impress them". I would have to have him come to church with me, to my church. I love my church. I like what you think girl! And uh...hehe...I thought of ben stiller too as soon as I read that. Laughed to see you thought the same! Hehehe. Yes!!! I knew someone had to think of ben stiller like me!

That's my outlook on it. I like your opinion. (and your shirt!) I think dating really all depends on the person. For some people it's better to go through experiences in dating, before actually getting married. So that they can know some of what a relationship is. For others it just comes naturally i guess. Like they'd rather dump the dating and just wait for someone to come along. I'm game for whichever. (though i do prefer one over the other) Whatever God has me do is cool. But i don't think i'm allowed to date yet. cry Just kidding, i'm cool with it. cool
