Guys, I need some help. A couple weeks ago, I met this cute boy at a Halo party (That's like a nerd version of spin the bottle. xDDD) And I instantly liked him. He seemed friendly, and invited me back (I was only there as a guest) and yesterday, While I was skipping, he ran into me, told me he got suspended from school and invited me back to his house for a bit. I'm not calling it a date, but it felt kinda-sorta like one. ^-^;; So back at his house, I found out his name was Aaron (Is that how you spell the name? I seem to recall it had a "y" in it instead of an "o" too, but that doesn't look right...) he was studying to be a mechanic, and he was scared of heights. AND MYUUUU HE'S CUUUUUTE. Ahem.

We ended up trying to fix his "s**t bike" (It's what he calls it) and eventually, we gave up and headed into town, where I got us both italian sodas (If you haven't tried them, I HIGHLY recommend them to you) And he ordered kiwi watermelon. <3 He said he couldn't finish it, gave it to me.

Then we went to his... cousin's? house (He apparently has a very extended family in summerland), talked to his druggie cousin (He assured me she's clean, but she was obviously hungover from something....) and wrestled. Yes. The great phairy mendori wrestled someone to the ground. cool Granted, he's thirteen, but SHUT UP. IT'S LEGAL HERE.

So we ended up doing a bunch of random crap and then went to SADI to relax, where I met some friends and started being more phairylike again. X_X He got uncomfortable, and told me he was leaving after a while, and now that I think back on it, that was a clear invitation to go with him. >_> DAMN ME.

Anyways. The kid's basically a juvenile deliquent, though apparently he's never been arrested. He smokes pot sometimes (very rarely, he assures me), "carhops" regularly, and he's apparently had a whole lot of sex with his girlfriend. He does call himself a christian, and there are some clues he's been giving off that make me think he's gay in denial. He seems desparate to make himself seem "not gay", I caught him hugging all his female friends, (Awwwww) and when he said he wasn't gay, he said [LYKQUOTE]I'm not gay, I'm Christian, Christians are against gays."[LYKENDQUOTE] and he was totally blushing as he said it and obviously embarressed, Which makes me think he's trying to convince himself.

SO. The after-tax five-hundred-thousand-dollar-question: How do I get him to start being more Christlike (or give it up altogether) without letting myself get dragged down into what he does, AND keep him either as a friend or as /more/? I admit, I DO need to get out more, but some of the stuff he does.... Meh, both of us could probably live without.

Ignore the "is being gay/having gay sex a sin" debate, please.

As for your situation, I'm not really sure what you should do. I mean, the kid's 13. How old did you say you were? Perhaps waiting until he's a little more mature would make things easier. He probably felt uncomfortable because he's not into the same things as you are....As you put it, being "phairy like". I'm not trying to be rude or mean here, I'm just trying to put myself in the mindset of a 13 yr old. ((i'm 19 btw)).

I see. So in reality, you're both too young to really know what you want. I've sort of learned that the hard way. Trust me, even at my age, I'm unsure of what I want in life. And if you're confused about the situation, imagine how he must be feeling. I wasn't busting on the way you act, I was just saying it could have made him feel uncomfortable.

first of all, my opinion was not on homosexuality. it was on you and this other boy. so don't jump to conclusions, and don't act like everyone is a gay basher just because they think that young people don't know everything that they want.
