Username: Elda-Chan

Summoner: Ezekiel Kellogg was never a kind person. As a boy his favorite hobby was killing the neighborhood animals in the most creatively inhumane ways he could think of. Growing up it only got worse, and the people who knew him were not surprised when Ezekiel announced his intentions to become a butcher. What did surprise people was when Ezekiel fell in love. Her name was Rachel Pennygrove and she worked at the bakery down the street from his butcher’s shop. She was beautiful; he was tall and gawky, with unkempt brown hair and dark, distrustful eyes. Needless to say, it was doomed before it began. . .

Demon To Be Summoned: Cockatrice—Born for an egg laid by a c**k and hatches beneath a toad or snake, the Cockatrice resembles a mix of the two species, usually a large bird-like creature with serpentine features. It is closely related to the basilisk. The cockatrice was first described in the late twelfth century, and is seen prominently in European writing of the time. The Cockatrice is said to be able to kill with it’s eyesight, by simply touching someone, or with it breath. It is also said that it is able to fly with it’s fowl qualities. The only sure-fire ways to kill a Cockatrice is to force it to look into a mirror, or expose it to the crowing of a rooster. The Cockatrice’s killing glare works even if the demon’s head is removed.

Reason for Summoning:
She had golden hair that fell in large, clean, ringlets.
    Obsession,
She had eyes that sparkled like diamonds in the rough.
    Obsession,
Lips like rubies painted a burgundy stain across her ivory skin.
    Obsession,
    My Fixation.

Turned down cold for my ratty hair and soiled clothes.
    Obsession,
Turned down for being too poor, too common, too ugly.
    Obsession,
Licking my wounds I watched and I waited for the night.
    Obsession,
    My Fixation.

She had blood that fell in hot, crimson, waves
    Obsession,
She had dead eyes that reflected the dull light of the stars
    Obsession,
She had ivory skin stained with the beautiful, violent color of her death
    Obsession,
    My Fixation.

And her red sin drips from my hands to the alley where she lays,
    Leaving my Obsession,
    My Fixation.

Terms of the Contract: The demon will provide Ezekiel with the ability to murder and shed blood and never be caught. No matter how big a mess he makes, there will never be any evidence that Ezekiel had anything to with it. In exchange the demon will physically take Ezekiel’s heart. The demon’s power will keep him alive, but he will have no heart beat, and absolutely no ability to love.

Method of Summoning: n/a

-Cupid's Chokehold: Won

Username: Elda-Chan

Character Name: Brandy Melson

Age: 24

Sexuality: Heterosexual (In a manner of speaking.)

OC/Shop: OC (Originally created for the now-closed IODM I’d like to see what she’d do here. XD )

Description: Brandy is one unusual doll. Born into a wealthy family as Henry Yarbrough, at the age of eighteen he inherited close to 4 million dollars with the death of his grandfather. Henry used a portion of the money to fulfill his secret life long dream; he went through sex reassignment therapy.

In short, Brandy is a transsexual.

Now, Brandy is five foot seven and incredibly skinny, weighing in at a “whopping” (note the sarcasm) one hundred and two pounds. Think anorexic skinny, though she does not actually have an eating disorder, her weight is carefully controlled by medications and surgery. Her hair is a natural-looking blonde; long, very thick, and always perfectly groomed. Her skin is almost completely flawless, thanks to lots of expensive dermatology. Her eyes are a little on the large side and dark green.

She dresses for style, and what’s in style. She’s always one of the first to follow the latest trends as far as clothing goes. She holds her appearance to be something she has to work constantly to maintain properly. Thanks to the good work of countless surgeons it is hard to tell by Brandy’s body or face that she is anything less than an authentic female.

Personality: Brandy is a social butterfly. Used to being in the spotlight, she’s usually cheerful, comfortable in all company, and knows how to lay on the charm. She's an attention whore, and basically will get along with anyone as long as they at least act as though they adore her. But, if for some reason someone doesn’t worship the ground she walks upon, well, “Hell knows no wrath like a woman scorned”. She may not be all that bright in “book-smarts”, but she feels she doesn’t need brains to shine.

-Island of Dr. Moreau: Lost

What Contest are you entering (in this post)?: Normal Animal

Character Name: Sandra Myers

Character Appearance (Human): Tall and lanky, her arms and legs appear a little too long for the rest of her body. Short, spiky red hair frames her face, which is heavily freckled, and very tan. Her arms and legs are also very tan and covered in freckles. Her eyes are very large and green, with extremely long lashes. She has a non-descript nose and mouth with a gently curved chin. She dresses mostly in denim and work clothes, with boots and western- style hats.

Character Personality: Sandra has a very robust and outspoken personality that often gets her into trouble. Her first instincts try to tell her that people are mostly good, but if you ever do something to piss her off she’ll never let you forget it. She’s slow to anger, but even slower to forgive, and she never forgets. She gives her trust freely, but if you even lose is there’s no going back. She always speaks her mind, even if it goes against what everyone else is saying. She loves nature, and would jokingly call herself a tree hugger. Being out doors gives her a since of freedom. Still, all things considered, Sandra will sometimes doubt herself, and her judgment. Also, you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of the girl.

Character Background: Abandoned at birth by her mother, Sandra grew up being shuffled about by the Texas foster care system. Moving from what seemed like one abusive home to the next she finally found a relative peace at age 12 when a couple who had lost their own daughter to Leukemia finally took her in for good. They raised her, and she took to them, especially her adoptive father, Richard. It was from his tender care she became the outspoken individual that she is today. When Richard and his wife, Beth, were killed in a car accident when Sandra was 18 she was devastated. In their will they had left everything to her, including the mid-size ranch Sandra had come to live at and love as a child. For several years she tended the ranch with the help of several handy men, and turned it into a sort of a bed and breakfast resort as a source of income. When she was 25 the ranch burned to the ground. Once again Sandra was devastated by the loss of something she had loved, she sold the property, and with her life savings in tow, left Texas to try and find a way to become something else.

How does your Character get to/why was your character chosen for the Island?: Having heard stories of a island where people could go to become something new, for the right price of course, she jumped at the chance to go there.

What Animal(s)/Plant(s)/Dinosaur Serum do you want?: Antelope jackrabbit (Lepus alleni)

Describe your ideal 100% appearance: Sandra would still be able to walk two-legged for short periods of time, the bones in her legs would become like the back legs of a rabbit, but for the most part she’d be on all fours. Her ears would be very long, seeing as a jackrabbits ears are 1/3 its body length. Her hair would darken to a brown-ish red and cover most of her body. Hands and feet shortened into paws, with blunt claws instead of fingernails. Nose would shorten, and become rabbit-like, and eyes would darken in color to golden, as well as blunt, almost bucket teeth. She’d also grow a small tail.
http://a1410.g.akamai.net/f/1410/1633/7d/images.enature.com/mammals/mammals_m/MA0175_1m.jpg

Why this animal/plant for your character?: Jackrabbits are wild and free animals with an upfront nature in the face of danger. Likewise, so is Sandra. She’s trying to find herself again and I think the spirit behind the jackrabbit would be just the thing to help her.

What do you think really makes this concept?: I think it’s the idea of trying to make someone of one’s self even when you have lost so much. People fall and my character is someone who is trying a very unusual way of picking herself back up.

((My original IODM concept, before Brandy. She kinda sucked. XD ))

-The Shattered: Lost

FLATSALE ENTRY
Name: Elda-Chan
Favorite Color: Lime Green <3

Comprehension: The Shattered is about giving souls the chances they were never given. Shattered are souls that got stuck in limbo when the wrathful God broke the looking glass connecting the worlds. They come from the many pieces of that shattered looking glass. Shatters are reborn when a piece of the looking glass, passed down by the being Halexei, reflect pieces of the world around them, and are seen by their human guardians. These reflections use the power of whatever they reflect to become born into our wold.

Creativity: My dream Shattered reflection is of an old-fashioned candy counter. The shard would be laying in the floor behind the counter, reflecting on the glittering sweets lining the shelves above it, and the faces of the people who buy the sweets. The reflection is a rare one; it is a reflection of joy, of the happiness the simplest things in life can bring. The owner of the shop is the one who picks up the shard, and sees in it the brightness and joy of life.

The child born from the shard is a happy, innocent girl. It is her desire to bring happiness and brightness to the world. Her appearance is reflective of the rainbow of sweets she showed as a shard. Everything from dark mocha chocolates to brightly colored hard candies. She’s energetic (borderline sugar high) and lives her life fully.

Capability-
What's your favorite genre of roleplay?: I like realism with fantasy elements.
How long have you been roleplaying?: Uh. . . 6-7 years, officially. I started D&D in middle school. Then on Gaia starting 4 and ½ years ago.
What was your first roleplay ever?: I played a drunk Gnome illusionist called G’ Nora in a campaign run by my best friend’s dad, who kept trying to kills us newbie’s off by throwing trolls at us. XD

Roleplay: (Choice 1)

“I am here.” A waterlogged, sing-song voice, called through the rain. “But if I stay out her much longer, I’m afraid I may melt. Sugar melts in water you know, and everyone says I’m as sweet as sugar.” The voice laughed at itself, a sound that flowed like honey, and the cheerful smile behind the words damped the grim mood.

-Heralds: Lost

Form
Name Aradia
Sacrifice Antique Lace
Gender Female
Personality Reserved, quiet and peaceful. Aradia is a serine force to be reckoned with. Naturally reasonable, Aradia seeks understanding and peace from her life.
Three Attributes Very long hair, green eyes, old-fashioned clothing
What does your Herald mean to you? I have attempted on several occasions to get a Herald. To me Aradia is the product of a long-standing dream; I’ve always wanted a Herald, I’ve always wanted my sacrifice to be lace, and I’ve always wanted to be part of the shop. Her concept is very close to my heart and I would love to see it become a reality.

-Daemonolgie: Lost

Username: Elda-Chan
Summoner: Ezekiel Kellogg
Demon To Be Summoned: Ouroboros
Citations: Wiki, Pantheon.org

Reason for Summoning: He was decided. “I am summoning this creature so that I will not age and will not die, but live eternally at the age I am, young and handsome.”
Terms of the Contract: Ezekiel will live eternally at age 25. He cannot age or die, unless he takes his own life. With his death, should it occur, the demon will receive and devour Ezekiel’s soul.
Method of Summoning: To summon an Ouroboros one must gather the body/skin of a venomous snake. And arrange the creature in a circle, biting its own tale, around a mound of water, carbon, and salt.
(Or off the compounds/amounts listed in Fullmetal Alchemist, about the ingredients of the human body, if that is allowable.)

- Hiccpus: Won!

Concept Contest Entry
Username: Elda-Chan
Guardian Name: Elda Chan (That lack of dash is soooo important~! ;D)
Guardian's Occupation or major pastime: Romance Novelist

Hiccup's Name: Norah Bishop
Gender: Female
Vessel: Black Cat with only one eye
Spirit: A woman who was (surprisingly correctly) accused of being a witch and hung during the Salem witch trials. She was caught along with many other women, most of which were actually innocent, found guilty of witchcraft and hung, her own (very small) powers unable to help her.
Two prominent Seasonal attributes: Autumn- Not as emotionally "warm" and Messy
Three physical attributes and how they relate to the spirit and/or vessel:
A single kitty-cat eye – Vessel. I’ve owned a one-eyed cats, and black cats (only not together in the same creature), and I have to say both are the most interesting felines you can find outside of a zoo. But beyond that, her vessel is a cat.
A tail – Vessel. Cat’s tails are very expressive, almost on the same level as dog’s tail. You can tell a lot about a cat’s mood by looking at the way they hold/move their tail.
Freckled – Spirit. In her past Norah worked in the sun a lot, causing her skin to be liberally dotted with freckles.

Preferred artist: Any~! <3

- Cabbage Patch: Lost

Gaia Username:
Elda-Chan (Partner: Smerdle)

Entering for:
Gingerbread Twins - Ginger & Zemel

Child Name:
Ginger

Guardian(s):
Elda Chan. Shy and quite, Elda tends to blend into the background. She writes paperback novels for a living. Her current child, Cece is doing a job on drawing her out of her shell.

Child Personality:
The “older” twin, Ginger is a take-change kind of girl. She’s energetic and responsible, and looks after her younger twin. She sometimes acts without thinking.

Writing Prompt: Your child has a real sweet tooth, and has just realized that the candy is kept up on the kitchen counter. It may be out of reach, but that doesn't mean it's an impossible task! Time to have a bit of an adventure to get at that candy stash!

Ginger peered into the large glass candy jar that usually sat on the edge of her mother’s desk. Empty. That figured. She sighed and set the jar on the floor with a soft “thunk”.

“Ginger.” Elda said, still facing the computer. “That jar’s empty for a reason. You don’t need anymore sweets.” The small blonde huffed and retreated from the office.

Wandering down the hallway and into the spacious living room she found her brother, Zemel, sitting in the middle of the floor, playing with his blocks. She plopped down next to him and picked up one of the wooden cubes, scowling slightly.

“Wut tee matter wit you?” Zemel asked, carefully stacking another block on the wobbly tower.

“Momma hid the candies.” Ginger complained, tossing the block from hand-to-hand. Zemel frowned.

“She put tem on the citchen counter. Me see her.” He told his sister, only to have his tower collapse as he placed another block on top. He stared at the pile that had just been his tower, and his eyes watered.

“But I can’t reach them there!” Ginger exclaimed, her frown deepening. This would take some careful thinking and planning, but she was going to get those gumdrops. She looked from her brother to his blocks, did a double take and looked again, a plan forming.

“Zemel! I know how we can get thos candies!” She grinned brightly. “I need to borrow your blocks.”

“Don’t wanna.” Zemel said, huddling over his blocks protectively. “Wanna re-build mi tower.”

“But Zemy!” Ginger wined. “Don’t you want some candies?” Zemel frowned, he liked candy, but knew whatever his sister had planned it wasn’t going to be good.

“Yes.” He finally admitted. “Kay, you can borrow tem, but you can’t break them.” Ginger giggled.

“I won’t break them.”

With Zemel’s help Ginger carted all the wooden blocks into the kitchen and piled the at the base of the counter.

“Now we’ve gotta build a tower.” Ginger said in her bossy-voice. “A biiiiiiig tower, and I’ll climb up it and gets the candies!” Zemel bit his lip but remained silent; this was not going to end well. Ginger stacked the blocks to build a tall, albeit wobbly, tower. She climbed atop the tower, and was balanced precociously at the top, reaching for the bag of gumdrops, when Elda walked into the kitchen to refill her coffee.

“Ginger! What do you think you’re doing young lady!” The tiny girl lost her balance and both she and the block tower toppled to the floor. Zemel began to cry; afraid his twin had been hurt. Elda bustled to her babies, and after assuring herself Ginger was okay, began to console Zemel.

“It’s okay, Zemel, she’s okay.” Elda told the sobbing boy soothingly, wiping his face. Ginger stood up and brushed herself off.

“I’m okay Zemy.” She told him brightly. “But I didn’t get those gumdrops.” Thing only made Zemel laugh through his tears, as Elda threw a nasty look at her daughter. In the end only Zemel got any gumdrops.

Ginger had to be happy with a long time-out.

Additional Notes:
Smerdle and I were undecided on how we’d set up the twins and families if we won, so it is possible that my guardian information may change. Also, I hope it’s okay that I used Zemel in this, we weren’t sure how the judging works when entering as a pair. X3

- Cabbage Patch: Lost

Gaia Username: Elda-Chan

Entering for: Panda Girl

Child Name: Bao

Guardian(s): Elda Chan. Elda is a science fiction/fantasy novelist who lives in Gaia. She works part-time at the local branch of the Gaia library and cares for her children, Cecelia and Asher. Despite the genre of books she writes Elda is a very grounded person. She tends to want to blend into the crowd, but her kids are doing an excellent job of bringing her out of her comfort zones.

Child Personality: Bao has a strong personality, which may lead to clashes within a family of strong personalities. She loves the outdoors, and is very active. She’s a little bossy, and like having things done her way. She has a very healthy appetite and tends to overeat, causing her to be plump.

Writing Prompt: An envelope with your child's name on it came in the mail today. Perhaps it's something your child has been waiting for, or something unexpected? Good news or bad? Did you open it before your child got home or leave it for them to open? The suspense is killing me already! Answer this prompt and tell me what happened!

Bao stood on tip-toe to peer into the mailbox. There were four envelopes inside, neatly stacked in a pile. She pulled them out carefully and began to paw through them. Three of the envelopes were plain white and addressed to her mother; probably those things Elda called bills and cringed every time she opened one.

The last envelope, however, was covered in bright red and yellow writing and addressed to her. On it big bold words that promised things like; YOU COULD ALREADY BE A WINNER! and PUBLISHER’S CLEARNING HOUSE WANTS TO MAKE YOU A WINNER! Bao was off like a bolt, she wanted to be a winner.

“MOMMY!” She said, as she burst in the front door moment’s latter. “I GOT A LETTER!” She rushed to her mother’s side and waved the brightly colored envelope in her mother’s face. “AND IT SAYS I COULD ALREADY BE A WINNER! DID I WIN SOMETHING!” Elda shook her head laughing and told the overexcited black-and-white girl to calm down, so Bao began again. “There was a letter for me in the mailbox and it says I won something, what did I win mommy?” She waved the letter around again impatiently.

“Bao honey,” Elda said calmly. “No one ever actually wins those things.” But Bao only stomped her furred foot.

“But it says I won mommy, the envelope says I won.” She crossed her arms sourly, the unopened letter clutched in her tight fist.

“Why don’t you open it and see what the letter says.” Elda said evenly, trying to distract the little girl from her mood. Bao looked thoughtful for a moment before carefully tearing open the seal on the envelope. After carefully sounding out the contents of the letter, her face fell. She hadn’t won anything, the letter was a joke or something. She sniffled.

“Does this mean I didn’t really win anything?” She asked tearfully, and Elda shook her head.

“Not this time honey.” Bao sniffled again then stood up straight, she wasn’t one to let something silly stand in the way of her good time.

“That’s okay mommy.” She sat the envelope down on the table next to Elda’s arm. “You can keep my letter, I don’t need it.” With that she skipped away in the direction of her room.

“Um, Bao?” Elda called after her. “Wasn’t there any other mail today.” Bao blushed and looked out the window just in time to see a speeding car throw the other three envelopes up into the air from where she’d dropped them in the road.

“No mommy. . .”

Additional Notes: PANDA FTW! No matter who wins her, Buy One Get One Free! gets my undying love for creating a panda child. Also, I've entered previous flatsales which qualifies me to use a bonus prompt. <3
