CM Punk to the new breeds? wow, did not see that coming, I was not expecting a heel turn from him for a while now. Athough I'm kinda glad they did, it's better they do it now before people start to get sick of him. i.e cena

Besides I think this is the time when the origanals get mad. and start wining more, considering they really haven't been treated that well for orgianals

This has been annoying me for a while now, WHY DOES PUNK HAVE A PEPSI LOGO?

He does really like Pepsi...he's got a tat of the logo on his left shoulder. As for his heel turn, it's still not enough to get me to stay up that late to watch ECW.

This is why CM Punk has the pepsi logo as a tattoo.
A Pepsi logo on his left shoulder inspired the names of two of his signature moves. He got the tattoo as a joke as many fraternity members in his school were getting beer logos tattooed on their body, so Punk, a keen Pepsi drinker, chose to receive a Pepsi tattoo to emphasize his straight edge beliefs. The tattoo is also a reference to former Minor Threat guitarist Brian Baker, who had a Coca-Cola tattoo and explained this by saying "I like Coca-Cola". When people inquire about Punk's Pepsi tattoo, he often replies "I like Pepsi" in a similar fashion. The Pepsi logo has become a symbol of Punk himself, wearing the logo on his ring gear in the independent circuit as well as a slightly modified Pepsi logo being used as part of his TitanTron entrance video.

beat ya to it and yeah i am annoyed that he can't use it. I think that he will stay heel for a while since he is good as a heel.

Definately predictable in my opinion. They have run out of things for him to do in ECW actually (sadly) and they have to give him new story line or TNA might come knocking.

If he would have joined the "Originals" I would have been pissed off actually.. since he wasn't one of the originals. The storyline needs to go away regardless of who is where.... Send PUNK to RAW and leave it at that! He deserves that push!

Newest WWE.com article about Punk and the New Breed:

Why, CM Punk, why?

That’s the question that ECW Diehards asked of the straightedge – or maybe now not-so-straightedge – Superstar after he shocked ECW tonight by joining the New Breed. The jaws of ECW fans at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. dropped in horror when Punk shook the hand of Elijah Burke and was hoisted atop the shoulders of the New Breed, sealing his new alliance with arrogant, young faction.

WWE.com caught up with Punk after he finished celebrating with new teammates Burke, Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker and Kevin Thorn. The Chicago native was not very forthcoming in explaining his reasons for joining the New Breed, but promised that ECW would soon see the real CM Punk.

“I know some people aren’t going to be happy with my decision,” he said. “But, trust me, I have my reasons. Tonight is the first step in everyone finding out exactly who is CM Punk.”

Punk’s decision to join the New Breed is puzzling. At first, he told the New Breed he didn’t need their help. Then, Punk kept them – and all of ECW – guessing for weeks as he repeatedly said he would “think about it.” The New Breed, led by Elijah Burke, told Punk – particularly before his Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 23, where he narrowly missed winning the opportunity at a World Championship – that he belonged with them because he was the future of ECW, and they could help him achieve his dreams.

Time will tell whether the hungry Punk made the right choice.

Cm punk turning heel is just sounding better and better as the week goes on, this means they can finally use cm punks marcial arts tranining to the max, they kinda held him back, if you ask me, plus this a better way to get him some better new moves. If you notice you get more moves when you turn heel or go back to the face, so this a chance to get him some better moves. But that's just me thinkin out loud
