For the first time in what seemed like months, Kuja had properly taken himself out of the house to socialize once again, strolling the streets of Traverse Town. Everything had been a blur and he just needed to get out and find his true friends again, and perhaps the one who wouldn't care whether he was a boy or a girl.

As long as they knew he was still the same Kuja, no matter what sex, then he'd be happy that he had found the perfect man.

Man.. Yes.. A woman would be too pretty for him. He couldn't live with a woman who prided her looks above his. No one was more beautiful or stunning then himself.

Reminding himself of that fact, Kuja's perfect lips curled in a delicate smile, brushing a hand through his hair and flicking it it back in an almost casual manner, entrancing people's stares who dared feast their eyes on his face and body.

It was time to move on from the waste of his life, Rufus. The real Kuja could now present himself and show off to the world around him.

And he could wear whatever he wanted, revealing skirts that revealed his legs and of course short tops that showed off his perfect curves. Clothes obviously remaining just as classy as they always had been, with even more oriental patterns of the most painstakingly done designs.

"Goodbye Merlin, take care." Seymour flashed a rare smile as he entered Traverse Town via the secret door was tucked away at the corner of the Third District. He had been visiting Merlin a lot lately, hoping to upgrade his basic Magics to a higher level. They had made much progress today, so he was quite pleased with himself.

As he walked up the ramp in the direction of the Second District door, he lowered his head momentarily to reach into the inside pocket of his robe. Although he had been visiting Merlin a lot lately, he hadn't been shopping in quite a while. In his opinion, one could never have too many robes and ribbons. Still smiling, he pushed open the door to the Second District.

It was then that he stopped suddenly, and glanced quickly over his shoulder. "Zero, Scraps! Come here boys!" In all his glee, Seymour had forgotten to call his loyal 'pets', who were no doubt waiting nearby. Soon after he called, a glowing white shape swooped up out of the ground beside him, followed by the rattling of bones. "Good boys."

Zero, the ghost dog, grinned widely as he floated directly in front of Seymour's face, whilst Scraps, the skeletal dog, sat wagging his boney tail at Seymour's feet. They were a strange trio, but it didn't matter to any of them.

Kuja paused in his steps when he heard a famillar voice calling out two very strange names. He wasn't far from the actual 2nd district door, just close enough to see hear and see the blue haired boy. At the site of the trio, Kuja's face truly lit up for the first time in months.

"Seymour! Hey Seymour!" He called out, waving a hand in the air and walking over. He had to keep his composure afterall, despite he was excited to see he long missed friend.

Also, he didn't want to excite the two.. Undead doggies that he had with him. One he recognized from Halloween Town, the other completely new to him.

Seymour's breath caught in his chest as he quickly recognised Kuja's voice. He hadn't seen him in months, and now he was unsure what to say. This was all before he even seen Kuja. As the blue-haired boy turned to face his approaching friend, he almost fainted on the spot.

His friend was no longer a boy around the same height as him; he was now a tall, slender young man. It was definatly him though, there was no mistaking that. But still, Seymour couldn't help but let out a slight whimper. "What happened to you?" He didn't mean that in a bad way of course, he was just shocked at the changes that Kuja had undergone whilst he had remained almost completely the same.

At that moment, Zero seemed more pleased to see Kuja than Seymour did. Ever-grinning, he floated over to him and span around, barking as he did so. That was probably his way of saying 'Hey, I remember you!'. Although Scraps had never met Kuja before, he was eager to introduce himself, and so bounded over to the teen and jumped up at his leg. For a ghost and a skeleton, the pair was very friendly.

The teen cringed inside at how Seymour reacted to him, having to remind himself that this was the first time the boy had seen him since he had grown. He just didn't want to be rejected like Rufus had done him. "I've grown, Seymour.. I'm now a Teenager, don't you like it?" He sounded a little unsure, disappointed at Seymour's reaction.

He stopped about two feet away, not wanting to scare the child, but also to greet the little ghost dog and it's companion. "Hello honey." He grinned, reaching up a hand as though to stroke him but not daring to do so incase his hand went straight through. "Whose your new friend?"

He was speaking more to Zero then to Seymour as he looked down at Scraps, taking a step back so it didn't crash into his leg.

Seymour lowered his head to hide the usual blush that touched his cheeks whenever Kuja was around. "Of course I like it." He murmered, taking up one end of the delicate satin ribbon that was tied round his waist. "But now there's no reason for you to like me anymore..."

The very thought of Kuja not wanting to be friends with him anymore almost brought to poor boy to tears, so he quickly patted his eyes with the ribbon end he had clutched in his hand. How could this have happened? As far as he knew, he and Kuja were around the same age. How could his Guardian Angel have gone through such a dramatic change whilst he hadn't changed much at all? Seymour remained stood with his head lowered as he tried to figure things out.

Zero went to lick Kuja, and actually managed it. The ghost dog had worked hard on his ability to feel corporeal objects and be felt by living beings. His main way of practicing was playing fetch with one of Scraps' bones, and bringing the bone back to Seymour to be petted.

Scraps cocked his head and barked in greeting at Kuja, but it wasn't long before both dogs noticed that something was wrong with their young owner. Whimpering slightly, both dogs made their way back to Seymour, the expressions on both their faces asking 'what's wrong?'.

"Yes.. Hello.." Kuja chuckled quietly at the lick, wrinkling his nose a little at the feeling of it. He didn't much like being licked by animals, but he would let it slide, he knew them afterall.

Turning back to Seymour however, a sad smile appeared on his face at what the boy said. He couldn't really sympathise with his friends growing before him, but he knew the fear of being rejected.

Walking over, he softly tugged the boy into a gentle hug and petted his hair. "Now why wouldn't I like you, hm? You're still my closet friend and I'm still your Guardian Angel, aren't I?"

He pulled back a little from the hug, reaching for Seymour's chin and lifting his head up slowly so he would look at his face and see the reassuring smile. "We are still best friends, aren't we?"
