Kujack wasn’t doing too well- No. He had been so moody lately! His cubs were getting bigger and older and soon they would be off… doing things he did at that age. Oh lord, that age; he felt so old even thinking about being anything BUT that age. He was a father now, a father... he just couldn’t believe it half of the time. Where had the time gone, where was he and why didn’t he know about his cubs growth? He felt so very small and useless right now... and that’s why he was so moody.
And to top it off Ger had to go get someone knocked up too so now, ON TOP of having his own cubs to worry about there was another freak of a cub bounding about with Ger as the father. The world was just doomed, doomed, doomed, doomed. That’s what Jack thought at least.
His green eyes were as heavy with woe as he rolled onto his side and gazed up at the passing clouds in thought. He had been spending a lot of time alone, thinking, sleeping... doing nothing again and again. He knew he wasn’t being a good father but he always thought of being one... he just didn’t know how to be one... really. Aysha was so good with the cubs he just couldn’t compare. He loved her so much for that, for being that rock he needed and would always need to stay so stable.
With a deep sigh he rolled onto his side and yawned dully. He needed to get up and do something but he wouldn’t. Jack was lazy, Jack was Jack.
Tamiko-chan
Aysha yawned quietly, peering all around her as she woke up from her mid-morning slumber. There was no one around. No cubs, no Ger, no mini-Ger, and no Jack. The cubs and Ger she didn't worry too much about. They were probably all on some field trip or something, and so she rolled lazily to her paws.
There was still one person on that list that she had no idea of his whereabouts: Jack. Where was her mate?
Squinting her eyes at the glaring son, the lioness shook her fur as if to chase away the heat already gathering on her black coat. She stumbled slightly, still half-asleep, but she regained herself and shook her head before moving her paws in search of her mate.
Ten minutes passed and she began to wonder maybe she had gone in the wrong direction. After all, it wasn't as if Jack had any usual haunts, at least not that she knew of. And their family den was in the middle of nowhere, with no outstanding natural landmarks around. So as the black and white female ventured forward, she feared she was getting farther and farther away from him.
Yet then she saw something, still too far away to tell for sure what or who it was, but Aysha was confident. "Jack!" she called, rushing forward quickly. It wasn't long before she could see him clearly, and it was indeed him. "Jack!" she called again, nearly purring with happiness.
"There you are, you lazy butt," she purred, nuzzling him as she approached him.

“Wow!”
He yelped aloud with wide eyes as Aysha came tumbling at him with love and affection. He was amazed! She was here- he must have been magic, yes… that had to be it. With a soft smile he gazed up at her and spoke.
“Hey now, I’m not being lazy... I am just enjoying the shade.”
Little did Jack know... he wasn’t in any shade.
“Haha, what have you been up to anyway? Get away from the little devils?”
He questioned with a soft smirk before he wrapped his paws around her neck and pulled her down with him. He acted so childish some times... a soft purr rumbled from within his chest as he nuzzled his forehead along hers once softly and then once more before speaking again, this time with a cocked grin.
“I have missssssed you.”
