It is VERY similar to king of the hill, but they aren't bases and you can't spawn from them domokun
It is a great game, adding more gerat things too!
It is free and it comes with the update that they set out, it takes a couple of hours to get used to? But it is good and really compettitive! mrgreen
A plus side to this is that you automatically re-spawn rather than wait till the round is over and everybody dies liek in the other map types. The getting up is also like Warzone in which you need a team mate to get you up, you cannot try to break your 'A' button to get up before the enemies come razz
There can be strategies too lol
Although i do recomend that you put the rounds to a small number like 2-4? Because each round takes absolutely ages, i heard that one group of people had 19 rounds and got over 500 kills exclaim exclaim exclaim
Overall a great thing to play!! wink

Annex f*cking sucks!
I mean seriously this update is alright but you get caught on something every ******** second you run.
Well you cant glitch i guess that is good
But you get downed more and its waaaaaaaaaaaaay easy to katana shot people now.

More to add:
Kills in Annex do NOT count towards Achievements at all.
You can still chainsaw glitch AND weapon slide, but no more roadie run glitch.
The best strategy for Annex is to down people and LEAVE them there. If they're downed they can't fight, and if they're downed they're not dead, and if they're not dead they can't respawn to come and fight.
The update also made it possible to get a down with boomshoot. Shoot the ground or wall next to someone and they'll now be downed. ******** annoying if you asked me, but good for getting downs.

Annex is an even better reason to always make sure you have a good team. If your whole team dies trying to grab the first territory, you're pretty much ******** again, I only played it on Raven Down (the worst map ever), so it could be different.

I played a ranked game of Annex last night on Escelation. It lasted for 3 hours, and I got around 173 kills. It was a 6 round game, and the score was to 480. Near the end we just said '******** it' and went for kills.

Yeah, i know that a good tactic is to leave em down, or maybe use them as bait too...? Depends how much the other team cares about their player wink
I haven't got downed with the boomshot yet, and i just shoot straight at the people, not by their feet or anything like that whee
I don't like the way they got rid of the smoke tag glitch where you could have infinite smoke grenades only to tag, i didn't really see any harm in that 1...? I know it can be used to frags too, but still sad
Plus i don't really care much that achievements don't count for Annnex because i don't play ranked that often, im not that sort of player, plus i always seem to play well in player matches rather than ranked? i don't know why though question
I haven't played another game type yet since it came out, i think i'm addicted to it, but it does take frickin ages!!! talk2hand

Annex is awesome, but it's warzone, which is crap. The updates are crap, weapon sliding is slightly different, but still there. Chainsaw glitching still works (1 of two ways), the roadie run glitch, crab walk, still works right if you do it a certain way...Not to mention the spiderman walls...More ranting, the chainsaw is a biznatch now with faster revving time, the shotgun blows now...Anything else? Simple solution to everything...Gears of War before all of the patches = Great awesomeness...without people knowing how to glitch of course...

I never seemed to know that many glithes... sad
But i used to do a couple every now and again, but only in my private rooms that i made, i wouldn't do it in a proper game where everyone is trying, i think that's just being gay...
I really hated chainsaws, but now they seem to be ALOT easier to use... question
But i love Annex and i haven't really stopped playing it since it was released! mrgreen
*Boomshot sucks, i agree with that neutral
*I don't know how to do any glithes that you've said, are they really bad? or cheating so that the other team has nothing much that can stop you...?

If i had to choose another map type it would have to be execution...
But warzone i just don't like because they can take you down with anything like a sniper, just if they got an active reload from far away... exclaim
But annex is still good for me and i hardly play much of the others!!
(i never play assasination either because it is always wayy too quick sad )
