The white lioness was curled up in the den that she had claimed as her home. She couldn't stay in her parents den anymore and it seemed that life had changed so dramatically but she had Ra and that was all that mattered oh and her brother. She wasn't sure what she would do without Tamu's support now. After so long fighting the two seemed to have such a strong relationship now and Ny was happy, she was home.
Her stomach was now huge. She knew she had to be carrying several cubs and she was bursting with pride just knowing that she would have some cubs that were hers and Ra's. She would show them off to her brother and make it visable to her parents that she had grown up well with her own cubs.
She rolled onto her side feeling a slight pain in her stomach, she had felt it several times before now but cared very little for it. She had never known what it was like to have cubs so this was something new to her and she was blissfully happy without knowing that her babies were about to start popping out of her.

Ra's life had changed a lot in recent times, he was only too happy to be back in the desert and had quickly settled down into the life of a Firekin once again, the days seeming to drift past in an easy haze. He was happy just to be here with Ny, simply looking at her made his stomach flutter and his heart soar. He didn't know the moment when the fledgling friendship that he had felt towards the white female had grown wings and learned to fly up into the realms of love. All that mattered was that he did and that he'd do anything for her that she asked.
However, despite all that, the idea of actually being a father boggled his mind. He knew now that Ny was pregnant, having watched his own mother glow and grow with a second litter of cubs, it was hard not to see that Ny was the same. It was a totally different situation though, where then it had been new siblings on the way, this time it was his own cubs. A bunch of little minds who would look to him the way he looked to his own father, he felt so young.
How would he ever be as strong as his dad had been, as warm and as gentle?
It was terrifying.
He tried not to think on it too long. Getting to his feet, he decided to go see Ny, all his fears seemed to flitter away when he was with her. On arrival at the den itself, he let out a warm rumble of greeting, padding over to gently nudge her with his nose. "Hello." he said with an easy grin, totally oblivious to anything amiss at all.

Her ears flickered at the sound of a voice she knew all too well. She let a smile cover her face and her golden eyes looked up happily at the all familiar black shape of her Ra.
"Ra!" She smiled and rolled to stand up, wincing at another pain flowing through her body. Moaning a little she rolled back over deciding that her stomach was just too heavy to stand up now even though the pains were getting worse. Why did she never talk to her mother about things such as birthing cubs?
She moaned a little more and let out a small sigh, "It seems I am too big to move!" She chuckled and little and reached her head up towards him to let her head rest against the bulk of his mane if he got close enough for her to do so.

Ra's smile flickered to a look of concern as Ny, trying to get up only to fall back down again. "Are you okay?" he said, fearing that something might be very wrong and lying down on the ground beside her, grateful for her precence there, even if things did seem unusual. "It's not the cubs, is it?" he said, trying to look confident but worry evident in his red eyes.
His worst fears flashed through his head and he fought them away, wrapping his tail as reassuringly as he could around her own.

The worry in Ra's eyes made Ny worry a little, she hadn't thought that these pains had been the cubs on their way, in fact she had never imagined that could be the case.
"Oh Ra!"
She curled up a little but the pain grabbed hold of her again and she cried out, stretching her body a little she waved her paws about trying to get her claws into something so that she could give something else the pain that she was feeling.
"RA!" She screeched a little. The pains were becomming more frequent but she wished them to stop all she could see was the worry in Ra's eyes. She didn't want the cubs yet, she didn't want Ra to worry anymore, she wished him just happiness.
