I shave down there, it's not a super strict area though. I only shave it once every couple of weeks. I let it grow a little then bye bye hair.

It varies. Most of the time I'll shave it all off. Because I prefer it, it's easier when I'm on my period to clean down there, and my boyfriend prefers it when he goes down on me. (although there have been times I've been to lazy to shave or do anything down there, likely when I was sick, and he would still go down on me.) But for a switch every once in a blue moon I'll have "the racing stripe." Shave it all off, except for a strip in the middle, leading down to my c**t. But of course I trim that little strip I leave.
And also, for guys, I'd have to say I like them shaved completely. When I started giving my boyfriend oral he didn't shave. But I brought up the topic about trying something new. He was VERY spectical(sp?) about the idea, but he ended up doing it. In the end we both loved it better. It makes him look bigger, and I don't have a bunch of hair in my mouth when I give him head.

I do the same as Zombie. Shave most of it but leave a stripe in the middle, and trim the stripe a little aswell.

I heard that you weren't supposed to shave down there. I heard that if you do the it can make you more likely to get an infection or a rash or razorburn or something like that that would really hurt...I've never shaved but I trim....

You're right; many ob-gyns do not recommend shaving. It can make you more likely to get razor burn, breakouts, ingrown hairs, and various infections. Some people are willing to take that risk for one reason or another though. I'm with you, I am sure am not risking it!
