Magic?: Tony is a dragon-bonded, a decendant of the Tok royal family. His dragon is a Copper dragon, most adept at creating deception with charisma. Tony avoids battles because his magic is not very good for them, but in a pinch he could switch with his dragon to scare the crap out of his enemies in a small skirmish.
Appearance:Tony has red hair, brown eyes, and fair skin with freckles. He wears glasses and often sports a sweater against the cold of Feretris' south plains.
Personality: Tony is bold and likes to meet new people, though he doesn't form extremely strong attatchments to them. He's very good at engaging a person's attention without looking too suspicious, and he has very little qualms about using force if he thinks it's necessary. Surprise attack is the best attack for an unsuspecting enemy.
History: Cedric's father introduced Tony to the dragon world, but Tony was never interested in sticking around the capital as a noble. Tony works as a contact, guide, and body gaurd for an outreach organization originally designed to help find inexperienced mages (especially dragon-bonded) and introduce them to their powers. However, after Cedric returned to Tok and explained to Tony some of what had happened to him, Tony and others in the organization sent substantial reinforcements to the rescue efforts of the locals south of Feretris. Now because of Tony and others, there has been a real organization for a few years now, a real underground with real results with the slaves they are able to rescue. And with any luck, Tony might save a couple of his kin.

Appearance: John is fairly tall at six feet, with very dark brown hair and brown eyes. Because of some nominal heritage from the west, his skin is fairer than a Feretris local, but otherwise he blends in pretty well.
Personality: He will play the fool or any other part to get something done. Sometimes he thinks so much about what to say or do that he acts like he didnt think at all: sometimes his planned and improv acting are a bit excessively complicated for accomplishing his ends. He's fairly good at judging people but does not always know how to respond, being self-conscious. He can't sleep if he feels unproductive or bored, because then he starts THINKING and planning so much that he just can't fall asleep. He is brave, even reckless, and willing to use other brave people, although sometimes this gets him in unecessary trouble.
History: Jack met Tony when Feretris sent reinforcements to the slave underground. Jack had tried unsuccessfully to make a difference at the Feretris border for months before Tony arrived, but had merely suceeded in endangering his life and spreading chaos among conflicted, seasoned slaves. Now he only ventures into Feretris under Tony's suggestions and directions, and fares much better as an undercover man getting the word out to slaves.

Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes, and dark olive skin.
Personality: Isabel is sensible, as you would hope from some one who runs so much. She can hold numbers in her head and remember a lot of what people say to her, meaning that she remembers complaints and instructions. For this reason, she can hold a grudge and isn't afraid to be spiteful to people who have been mean to her in the past.
History:

Age: 40 (17 when captured, 24 when escaped 16 yrs ago)
Magic?: Bonded to a typical but powerful white dragon with status-effect magic such as sleep.
Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.
Personality: Rebellous, some times nervous or depressed when he was a slave. Having been raised to fill a position of power, being degraded was a confusing shock.
History: Cedric was dropped off in Feretris by political enemies, being a vocal prince of Tok. He was picked up by a hunting party on return from the mountains, who took him to their home at Eldic Estates. He was handed off to the current headmistress of slave training while reasonable inquiries were made into his ownership. (Since then, Katrina Preace has taken over this position). They quickly found out that he was a "wild" man, having no owner. Marean bought him from the government at a nominal fee (like buying a title for a car. The government didn't make the car, but they made the piece of paper that says it's yours. icon_rolleyes.gif). Cedric was informed in no uncertain terms of his second class status. He offered Marean a few nasty words about it, and promptly found himself pitted against a guard in training in one of the training rings (like a boxing ring). His owners had noticed that he was a feisty one and had skill in fighting, and the outcome of that first match proved that they were right. The poor guard was in stitches! From then on he was used to train guardsmen. Whenever he resisted, they simply gave his opponent orders to maim or kill. Finding himself hopelessly in the power of the slave trainer because of her ability to hurt him from a distance with magic, Cedric began to behave. Not even two weeks since his capture, he was complacent enough to be a bed warmer/sex slave for Marean.
For the first few years he held out the hope that he would discover the magic that his parents had told him about and use it to escape, but he didn't. Whenever he got frustrated or depressed, he would act out, but became more clever in his resistance as he grew to understandd the system he was trapped in. He gave up that hope. The last few years of his capture he spent willingly training the other slaves, and gentle as a babe with the women who wanted him. This way he gained their trust, which he needed to execute his escape. He feared that if he stayed, he would get himself killed, or the kingdom of Tok would learn of his whereabouts and start a war, which he knew they didn't have the resources for. Feretris is a big country.
Cedric escaped as he accompanied Marean to a birthing compound (possibly, she carried his own child). He simply slipped away when they weren't looking and hide in the mountains to the west. No one knows what has happened to him since. icon_razz.gif
