Kia simply nodded and allowed her eyes to fall shut once more, still remaining conscious during Austin's application of his healing technique. Soon her body began to regain it's vigor and strength, her lethargy melting away slowly and clearing her previously cloudy mind.
Now she was able to sit up without trouble and she did so, looking down at Austin with curiosity and gratefulness while clutching her covers to her naked form.
"Thank you. Tell me what I need to know."

"I'm leaving Tenshi. I've been elected Kazekage; the Wind-shadow. I'm now expected to go to the village hidden in the sand and serve there as a leader of the nation of wind."
He wasn't sure if kia actually realized the gravity of that title, but he didn't expect her to.

"You're...leaving?"
Kia was unfamiliar with the title he spoke of and the land that it belonged to. But judging from his earlier reaction she could tell that it had to be something of utmost importance, something that obviously would ultimately affect the fate of an entire nation according to what he just said.
"...I want to come with you."

"I do too. But I need to you realize what kind of job i'll be accepting."
Austin sighed slightly, rubbing Kia's hand with his thumb.
"I'll be leader of the land of wind. A general. A warlord. I could be assasinated in my sleep. Sometimes, I may even have to risk my life during a full-scale battle. I want you to know what i'm getting into before you come..."
Austin paused for a moment.
"..and that we may never have moments like these alone anymore. Im not sure enough to say what else will happen right now. but that's the gist of it."

Kia immediately shook her head for a few moments, stopping to gaze intensely into his eyes while squeezing his hand almost desperately.
"I understand that. But at the same time it's not important to me. No matter what you do I want to follow because I love you. Even if my own life is risked because of it."
"We may never have this quiet or simplicity again but as long as we are together it won't matter to me."

Austin smiled slightly.
"As long as you're okay with that, then of course you can come with me."
Austin removed his shirt after a moment.

Thrilled with his answer, Kia leaned over out of the bed, nearly falling over in the process as she hugged him tightly and smiled. She noted how good it felt to hold him in her arms, and this made her even happier.
"Thank you, Austin. I love you."

Austin blushed for a moment. he hugged back, smiling.
"Youre welcome. I love you too."
He then continued to help Kia back into the bed, before she spilled out of it.

Laying back in bed carefully, Kia kept her eyes on Austin, watching him with admiration and happiness.
"Please stay with me for now. And hold me. I'd like that."

"Alright then. hold on."
Austin etched a small transmutation circle into his chest with his nail, then activated it to evaporate all of the water in his clothes. A small circlet of red irritated skin appeared on his chest, then faded after a moment. Austin smiled, then slipped under the cover of the bed.

Kia watched on with a warm smile as Austin dried himself off as only he could, soon after crawling into bed beside her. Scooting over to him slowly, she gently leaned over to where he laid now and rested her upper body against his. Her head came to rest on his shoulder, face nestled in the crook of his neck. And her hands curled lightly against his chest.
"You're so warm."

"Are you kidding me? I feel freezing cold. You on the other hand, you're nice and hot. Lucky!"
Austin gave a small joking kiss to Kia's forehead before slipping and arm around her to pull her closer.

"We can keep each other warm then. That would be nice."
Heaving a small sigh of contentment, Kia snuggled into Austin happily, his body heat a welcoming comfort to her fever-ravaged body.
"I'm glad to see that this isn't really awkward for you as well."

"Wouldve been before, but I'm comfy with loved ones."
After a few moments, Austin fell to sleep. his exhaustion from healing Kia earlier caught up with him and took him quickly into the grasp of rest.
He would wake up the next morning to find two Ninja standing in the center of his room, bowing.
