Cheap in games, still only a chuunin and he kicks a**, kalaedascope mirror wheel eye. I could probably become an uber Itachi fan if I wanted to.

I don't think Itachi is just a chuunin. I'm not sure but I think you need to be a jounin in order to be an ANBU, and he's a S-Class missing-nin that easily beat Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma in that fight when we first see him. I think he's beyond jounin rank, he's just way too strong, even Orochimaru is a bit scared of him.
But I still love him heart

but I really love Itachi! cuz he's the only one who manages to piss off sasuke so much!!! baka sasuke!
and he's so cool and smart (though killing your own clan isn't thattt wise ^_^), I'm sure a reasonable explenation will be given to us about the clan massacre thingie sweatdrop

Jinshi Tsumeragi Itachi is cool. I mean he is highly skilled and strong, he's highly respected for his strength but also feared by that strength and that's why Anbu's, Jounin's, and i think Chuunin's know of him. Uhm.. Dude, I don't know if you noticed.. But he kinda like wiped out the entire Uchiha clan.. I think that might be another reason they know of him xp

I just hope they bring him back, I was disappointed how he just ran off after only a few episodes and that was it.
