I found this book in my basement and it looked interesting, so I brought it up to my room and there it sat for a couple of months. Then this past Thursday I was looking for something to read, so I picked this book up.
I loved it. I thought it was a wonderful story of love. I really thought it made a great point about racism as well. And, in some ways, it kind of made me want to be more of a Christian than I already am.
Has anyone else read this book? Discus. biggrin

I had to read this book for my summer reading assignment last year.
It was okay. I mean, it was a great book and all, but I'm not Christian and I'm really not into the type of book. It was an interesting read, but not one I'd normally pick up off the shelf.
Or maybe it was because it was assigned. That always seems to kill the fun in reading. If you have to do something, it always makes it seem like a chore. Blah. stare

I don't know if I'd really have liked it all that much if I had to read it for school, to be honest. But stumbling across it made it better.
